Here is a nicely crafted mixed metal pin designed with stylized silver oak leaves, berries and vines applied to a curved copper plaque. The piece, which has some heft, is secured by a safety clasp and a strong pin stem. The metal surfaces bear a warm patina; the pin is marked on the back with an impressed W and Handwrought. Honey colored amber brooch, made in Königsberg / Kaliningrad in the 1950’s. Four leaves and a gold-filled shaft with a Russian / Soviet hallmark. Width "1 ¾ / 4.5 cm. Condition: tip of one leaf with minimal damage (cf. pics).
Here is a hand-constructed cuff bracelet made of multiple wires that are joined at the terminals and kept in place by horizontal rings. The wires look to be silverplated; the rings and soldered terminals are white metal. The cuff has a good heft (56 grams) and an impressive look. It is also well balanced, so doesn't turn on the wrist. It measures a little over 1 inch wide and 5/8 inch high with an inner circumference of about 7 ¼ inches.

According to published reports Winifred Mason Chenet was an African American woman hand crafting jewelry in Greenwich Village. She worked with and trained Art Smith, a well respected African American modernist jeweler. She believed that each piece should be unique and distinctive.
These earrings have two parts, the top is smooth polished copper and the bottom has a coiled brass overlay...
Amethyst? No. Glass.
Gold? No. Gold fill.
Do those facts mean this lavalier is any less lovely? No!
This charming lavalier is both antique and eye-catching. The stone is amethyst-colored glass and the metal is gold-fill. The lavalier is not marked, but the 20" gold-filled chain bears the maker's mark for Bates & Bacon. The lavalier is 1 1/8 X 3/4", not including the fresh-water pearl dropper. Circa 1900.
This clamper bracelet is circa 1940's. It measures 4" from top to bottom. The hinge is 3/4" long. I have not seen many Mexican, of this type in brass. The design is wonderful. The colorful abalone looks lovely in brass. The inside is marked HECHO EN MEXICO. It is in great condition.

Circa 1900 sash ornament that can be worn as brooch pin with wide "C" catch. The green 14mm oval art glass mottled stone, made to resemble apple green jade and referred to as Chinese peking glass, is bezel set amidst a lattice dome and highly ornate designs.
