A vintage modernist brooch with a whimsical three dimensional Man in the Moon face in copper.

Measures 1" at the widest and 2 3/4" high. Made of oxidized copper with overlays for the eyes, nose and mouth. Rollover clasp holds securely.

This very Victorian pin is gold fill set with two rose-cut red pastes and one cabochon ‘turquoise’. The pin is 1 ¼" wide with a central ball element that is 3/8" in diameter. Applied circles of wire rope ornament a vertical, rectangular bar. A hollow ball dangles from two chains; another chain connects the pin to the stickpin. A vintage hand made pendant in hammered brass with Pre Columbian pottery beads and a central mask. Hammered brass neck ring hooks in two places in the center. There are five dangles on the bottom with stone and ceramic beads and hammered brass disks. Central pendant measures 5" long and 2 7/8" across. Neck ring measures about 22" around. Etched signature on the back, 'Donna Brown'. Reminiscent of the work of Annette Nancarrow and Maya Mexico. Well made, bold design.

This lovely mesh handbag features painted flowers in pinks and greens on a whitish background. The yellow metal frame exhibits embossed scrolling and two decorative rings to which the chain is attached. The chain is composed of alternating oblong and figure-eight links. The silk lining is intact, but is wrinkled and shows two stained areas. There are no gaps in the meshwork, and all links appear to be intact. There is no wear to the decorative painting...

An important, rare modernist bracelet by the renowned African American jeweler, Art Smith. Made of woven, riveted and patinated copper.

Measures 5 3/4" around with an opening of 1 1/4" and 1 3/4" wide. Marked with the 'Art Smith' script signature in at least two places. Looks like there is also a third partial strike. Very good condition with some minor surface scratches and areas of tarnish.

A wonderful example of Mid Century Modernist design.

A lightly hammered pewter brooch with a central rose colored round Ruskin pottery jewel. Marked Hand Wrought Plantagenet, REGSIN, Pending on the back. Plantagenet hand wrought jewelry was retailed through Liberty & Co. of London in the early 1900s.

Measures 1 3/8" in diameter. Has a 'C' clasp that holds securely. There is a small piece of wire wrapped around the hinge.

Pretty color, fine example.

An Art Deco filigree cut crystal choker length necklace 1930. This rhodium plated necklace has a spring-ring catch, it measures 14" long, and it has a central 1-3/8" x 3/4" drop and round and rectangular claw-set open backed crystal stones. It is unsigned, and this necklace is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

A gold vermeil / gilt brass bangle with engraved steel applications of acanthus leaves. Victorian (English) or possibly French, c 1850. To be opened and shut through two little knobs in a steel monogram. Inner circumference when shut "6 2/3 / 17 cm Condition: could do with some professional care, part of the application is missing (cf. pics), still beautiful.
