Art Smith modernist copper and brass brooch

Very good vintage condition retaining original patina
This charming pin is the embodiment of Victorian design. A very stylized butterfly perches on a row of 'gold' ball-shaped dangles. The butterfly is centered with a colorless brilliant, and flanked by small ruby pastes at each side. As was common at the time in the Victorian era, a matching stickpin acts as a safety feature as well as being pretty. The pin is a generous 1 1/2" and is gold filled. There is a maker's mark PC Co. Circa 1880
Great examples of Finnish Modernist design, two brutalist rings made of bronze by Hannu Ikonen for Valo Koru, Finland. May be purchased individually or as a pair.
The ring with a more copper colored patina currently measures a size 7 1/2. Has a split shank so it can be adjusted. Face of ring measures 1 1/8" in diameter. Marked Made in Finland on the inside.
The ring with the darker patina is now a size 8 but also can be adjusted. It is also marked Made in Finland on the inside...
A very unusual hand wrought copper necklace with lightly hammered curved links. The end of each link slips through a small slit and is then hammered flat so it won't come out. Hard to explain but ingenious!
The necklace measures approximately 34" around. There is no clasp, meant to slide over the head. Unsigned.
In very nice condition with a dark warm patina and lots of attention to detail.
Fine hand wrought work.
Amethyst? No. Glass.
Gold? No. Gold fill.
Do those facts mean this lavalier is any less lovely? No!
This charming lavalier is both antique and eye-catching. The stone is amethyst-colored glass and the metal is gold-fill. The lavalier is not marked, but the 20" gold-filled chain bears the maker's mark for Bates & Bacon. The lavalier is 1 1/8 X 3/4", not including the fresh-water pearl dropper. Circa 1900.

This sparkling stunner has 2 big rhinestones (7/16”), 2 smaller ones (1/4”), and 8 small accent stones (there should be 9. One is missing, but it’s really hard to tell, due to all that sparkle), set in white metal. The whole thing measures 2” x 9/16” at the widest points. Stamped “Czechoslov” on the back, it is in overall good condition: the stones have a couple chips, and a little abrasion, but the stones are so sparkly it’s hard to spot these...

This clamper bracelet is circa 1940's. It measures 4" from top to bottom. The hinge is 3/4" long. I have not seen many Mexican, of this type in brass. The design is wonderful. The colorful abalone looks lovely in brass. The inside is marked HECHO EN MEXICO. It is in great condition.
This impressive necklace bears the mark of jewelry designer Jacob Hull and the firm Buch and Deichmann, of Bagsvaerd, Denmark (1969-1980). The necklace has some heft, and is composed of irregular-shaped dollops of plated molten metal flanked by oblong links. Unhooked, it measures 32 ¼ inches long. Weight: 65.9 grams

A signed Dafri copper ultramodern pin brooch and earrings set from the 1950s. This Toronto Canada company made some great looking items and this is one of them - a very Jetsons kind of anamorphic style. This set includes the 2" across pin with a safety clasp and an applied copper planchet identical to the 1-5/8 x 1" clip-on earrings. Each has some mild black patination and the pin has the DAFRY signature planchet...
Composed of a highly oxidized white metal set with uncut chunks of amber, most likely secured with an epoxy. The construction is a bit craft-like, with areas of solder showing; the long bail is attached on the back and partially obscures the maker’s mark of A.D. Design, a Copenhagen firm formed by J. Andersen and E. Dennung (1971-1979). The pendant measures 3 1/8 inches long by 2 1/8 inches wide.

A large, modernist pendant, "Mustang" by Bjorn Weckstrom for Lapponia in bronze with light flame coloring.
Marked Lapponia, Finland and some other marks too difficult to read. Measures 3 3/4" long and 2 3/4" across. Heavy, three dimensional and substantial. Original chain measures 26" long and has the sliding clasp which holds securely. Very nice condition, surface shows some minor scratches and a little wear.
Wonderful example of Scandinavian design.
Here is an impressive, hand-constructed pendant of wound thick wire around a square piece of polished spectrolite. The stone has a lovely iridescence, and internal yellowish bands. The pendant is permanently attached to a thick chain that has no clasp; both the chain and pendant are silverplated; the pendant bears the impressed mark of Walter Arnesen, Copenhagen (1968-1973). The entire necklace, including pendant and chain, drops 15 inches.
This long, continuous chain is made of white metal links that test very slightly for silver; it is probably European. It is constructed of multiple flat, rope-like loops that intersect to form four lobes. It hangs 36 inches from the neck, and can be worn in a variety of ways – knotted, doubled, tripled, or tied loosely around the neck like a lariat necklace. It measures 1/4 inch wide.
