Lovely vintage silver enameled link necklace by Margot Van Voorhies Carr. 1950s. Marked MARGOT DE TAXCO, STERLING MEXICO, with eagle number 16, and with design number 5614. A signature Margot enameling technique, with leaf forms enameled in translucent green and small circular shapes in opaque white with tiny black speckles. Photos do not capture the fine detail of the enameling. Slide clasp. Fresh and beautiful and very wearable.

Wearable length is 16 inches. 1/2 inch wide...

Outstanding vintage Los Ballesteros Mexican bracelet in solid sterling silver. Marked with the Los Ballesteros mark, also marked HECHO EN MEXICO, STERLING 925, and with design number 39. This Antonio Pineda tie bar is a wonderful example of his quality, modernist artistry. It is concave with a central bezel-set, oval amethyst cabochon. It is marked "ANTONIO TAXCO" (in crown), "970" and co-stamped with Los Castillo Cooperativo marks: "LOS CASTILLO SOC COOP SCL" in a circle with "SEC 2" inside (this Coop mark is double-struck--see pictures) and eagle mark "58." The tie bar measures 1 1/8" x 5/8" x 1/4" and is in very good condition.

Rare sterling modernist choker necklace by Sigi, c.1952. Extremely heavy, it weighs 5 troy oz(150 gms)and is in excellent condition. The concave necklace houses graduated dimensional silver balls going around the entire piece. Sigi opened his PLATEROS shop in 1952, and one rarely sees the PLATEROS mark. The necklace is signed "PLATEROS TAXCO MEXICO STERLING #17 bellmark-can't read". The choker measures 14" around and is for a small neck. Wonderfully designed and unusual piece of modernism......$...
