Early Mexico City open backed repousse cuff looks so fabulous without being embossed around the background of the roses because it makes the repousse really pop. This is a 1 10/16th in. wide and the diameter is 2.5in. There are no repairs, no dents and no light holes that come from poorly pressed silver. The roses are brisk and superbly dimensional. This necklace consists of triple segmented trapezoidal 5/8" wide sections with wire loop links. It has a box clasp and it is stamped STERLING HECHO EN MEXICO DF 925 with an H maker's mark. A hinged bangle of irregular, wavy design, solidly cast, by prominent Taxco designer Erika Hult de Corral. The spring mechanism is in good working order, keeping the bracelet securely in place. The bracelet has a 6 ¾-inch inner circumference, and is quite comfortable to wear. It bears the maker’s ‘Ric’ mark, as well as the Mexican eagle mark for sterling. Gross weight: 53.5 grams

Shaped as stylized heads, they are hollow cast and pierced for stringing. Faces show on both sides of the beads. One bead has a casting imperfection on one side (see Photo #1); the other side is intact. There are a total of 19 beads; strung together they measure 9 inches long. They are possibly Mexican. A forged wire pendant composed of drops of various lengths is attached to a chain of shorter, peaked forged bars linked by securely soldered rings. This graceful sterling silver ring is formed as a stylized snake with an impressed band starting at the head and tapering to the tail. This impressive 2 3/4" sterling silver cuff studded with 30 amethyst cabs was hallmarked c. 1940 by Manuel Altamirano, senior silversmith in Hector Aguilar's Taller Borda. Interior length measures 5 1/2" end to end. The gap opening is 1 1/2". Terminals measure 2 3/4" wide, center front is 2 1/2" wide. Weight 79 grams. The bracelet is in beautiful condition. This interesting pin is constructed of four flat, interlocking rings and has a nice heft to it. The rollover clasp is original to the piece and in good working order. The back bears the maker's mark of a conjoined HT, an unidentified silversmith who also worked with Estela Popowski, as well as independently. Vintage Mexican silver Maestro Beto is the signature on this beautifully hand chased, solid show stopper. The chain is a swirl that measures .25in. tall while the drop is a 2 1/8th in. diameter circle with a synthetic color changing stone. It shows off blue, pink and purple hues depending on the light. The weight is a hefty 57 grams and is made with thick silver. The wearable length is 16in. I have never seen anything made by Beto that was not well executed, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

A gorgeous Palacios rare find. The flower is backed repousse with 3 warmed turquoise stones. The sweeping leaf below is open backed repousse. The patina is fantastic and the design is sublime. The weight is 20 grams heavy and the height is 2.5in. and width is 1.75in. wide. This brooch has no damage and it is collector quality.

These earrings are composed of irregularly shaped, concave panels that feature applied abstract figures with outstretched arms. The background is highly oxidized, as are the tops attached to the screw backs. The oxidation is nicely distributed and shows very little wear. These gorgeous earrings each display two oval amethyst flower cabs, stemming out of leaves. They measure 1 1/2" long x 7/8" from leaf to leaf. The back of one is marked MEXICO STERLING. They are in excellent condition.

Margot de Taxco, Margot van Voorhies Carr shows off sheer genius in this 5127 design. Rare and 1.25in. wide make you stop and take a longer look. Heavy at approximately 70 grams of repousse swirls and beads which make an abstract image of swans swimming. Anything that looks like a dent is reflection or a spot of tarnish. This is an incredibly clean bracelet.

Los Ballesteros beads are not often seen and these are exceptional. The half inch wide beads are quite heavy at 50 grams and 8in. long. The fit is more like a 7 inch bracelet. Each bead is 1 in. long. Properly hallmarked as shown and with eagle. If you collect beads, you will love these.

We have an Antonio Pineda Onyx tear drop vintage bracelet that is a wearable length of 7.25in. and a striking 1.75in. tall. These Mexican bracelets were made in relationship to the size of the stones that were obtained and this is one of the tallest tear drops I have found. The weight is 120 grams heavy and is collector and museum quality.
