This Los Castillo is an early design 592 and crafted when Margot Van Voorhies was married to Antonio Castillo. This is not for the faint of heart with a .5in. depth, 21 inches long and 1.25in. tall. This necklace exhibits a strong presence. A dark amethyst stone glows in strong light and has no chips, damage or cracks. Early 1930's hand forged 980 sterling silver & copper cuff designed & signed by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling (1900-67). Heavy at 100 grams, this design is comprised of braided silver & copper bands framed by thick silver wire. The bracelet is 1 14" high. Interior measures 5 3/4" end to end with a 1 1/4" gap opening at the back. 1930's hallmarks read 980 WS TAXCO. Beautiful vintage condition and patina. Plateros was the name of Sigi Pinedas first shop. He was not open long at this taller and works with this signature are rare. From this shop I have found his very best works. Thick silver and always made with quality and this necklace shows all that off. The red coral branch is over 1.5in. long and has a length of 1 3/8th's in. wide. A Vintage Modernist abstract clamper cuff bracelet made of Sterling Silver signed Zagal Tasco. Measures approximately 7" around and 1 7/8" at the widest. Marked Zagal, Tasco, Hecho en Mexico, and Sterling on the inside. Marked with eagle #3 also. In very fine condition. Some minor surface scratches and a little tarnish. Heavy and well made. A stunning vintage Mexican bracelet in sterling silver in the classic Fred Davis Chevron design. Featured in Mexican Silver, by Morrill and Berk on page 27. Measures approximately 7 7/8 " long and 1 1/8" wide. In very nice condition, has some minor scratches and a little tarnish. Marked Made in Mexico Sterling. Has a box clasp that snaps securely. The craftsmanship and construction on this bracelet point to Fred Davis' work. Pre Eagle, (1948). Looks great on!

This is a very old pre 1948 Mexican silver bracelet that is in exceptional condition. The 5 stones are barrel cut amethyst with no cracks or chips. The underside shows many work marks. The barrels have no splits however there are reflections of light that may appear so. The bead work was also very taken care of without damage. The height of the piece is 1 1/8th inches.
