This pin from Los Castillo dates 1940-1945. It's an early piece, likely designed by Margot van Voorhies Carr while she was married to Antonio Castillo. Being offered is a circa 1963 sterling silver necklace by Los Ballesteros of Taxco, Mexico, boasting a modern biomorphic design. Dimensions wearable 15 1/2”, 1 3/4" at its widest. Marked. In excellent condition. Necklace is solid silver, not hollow, and weighs a heavy 4 ozs. Los Ballesteros is one of the great Mexican silversmiths.
