This cute, sterling silver pin / brooch is a Mexican cat character. He is wearing a bowtie and has abalone (like, fur) belly. It measures 1 1/4" x 1/2" The back is marked with the #3 Assay Mark. It is also marked TAXCO MEXICO, in a circle, with JRC .in the middle. It is in excellent condition.

This is a Mexican silver vintage Margot de Taxco necklace that bares an early design #5204. The piece is almost 16in. long and sits on the neck .75in. tall. The earrings weigh 15 grams and is 7/8th in. wide and is 1 1/8in. tall. The necklace is impeccably made and weighs 99 grams. It is in perfect condition and is properly hallmarked as shown. This one is hard to let go of and is breathtaking, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

A modernist sterling silver ring by noted mid century jeweler, Sam Kramer, with an erotic theme. Depicts two hands holding breasts.

Measures about a 5 1/2. Face of ring measures 7/8" long and 1/2" across. Marked with Sam Kramer's mushroom mark and sterling. Has some minor surface scratches, some wear to the surface and tarnish. Heavy sterling.

Great MCM design. Haven't seen this design before. Sam Kramer's designs are highly collectible and rare.

This beautifully detailed sash buckle was designed for Tiffany by the well-known and highly collectible George Shiebler. The marks are: “Tiffany & Co,” the winged S for Shiebler, “Sterling,” and “4758” (we’re not sure what that means). It is 3” x 2”, with a slight curve to it, and weighs 42.2g/1.49oz. Decorated with a floral motif, it’s a classic beauty. Geo. W. Shiebler & Co. was in business under that name from 1876 until almost 1915...

a vintage 1930s sterling silver hand engraved heart photo locket on chain c1930s. This 1-1/4 x 1-1/8" locket has fine hand engraving on the front (the back is undecorated), and it has two retaining bezels with celluloid windows. The 19-1/2" link chain has a hook and eye clasp, each piece is stamped STERLING, and this necklace weighs 14.6 grams and it is in excellent condition with no monograms, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

Is this made in Taxco Mexico? Lizard gekko silver set is simply stamped "Sterling" on the belly of the pin and the turn wheels of the screwback reptile earrings.

Maestro Velazquez is one of my favorite early Mexican silversmiths. Based on the hallmarks on his work, he was most probably based in Mexico City and his creations are almost always in the so-called Mexico City style of repousse. Large pendent of amber from the west coast of Denmark, of irregular tridimensional rhombus shape. Made by simply polishing a lump of amber! It has the best deep honey color with some more intense red spots. It comes with a silver necklace. Decorated with applied grapes, vines and gold leaves, set with an amethyst, this arts and crafts cross pendant is probably English and reminiscent of the work of Henry George Murphy, though it is unsigned. The gold is of a low (probably 10) karat. The cross is suspended from a later sterling chain. It measures 3 inches long by 2 3/8 inches wide; length including chain is about 14 1/2 inches. Taxco 980 signed pieces are always quality. This link is 118 grams heavy and is the closest thing to the Coco design of the Spratling original necklace which is so very, very rare. The Taxco 980 necklace is 20in. long and has a depth of 7/16th's giving it even more dimension. No dents or damage and kept lovingly through time. One of my favorite things, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!
