A modernist sterling silver ring by noted mid century jeweler, Sam Kramer, in an abstract shape with a green, possibly Chryoprase, bezel set cabochon. Measures about a 7 1/2. Face of ring measures 1" long and 1/2" across. Marked with Sam Kramer's mushroom mark and sterling. Has some minor surface scratches and a little tarnish. There is some wear to the darkened area. Interesting contrast between the darkened silver and the polished raised dots. Great MCM design.

Hand-wrought in its entirety and a design that I have never encountered before, this early Mexican silver repousse necklace is an anonymous beauty. Its early date is attested to by the fact that it's strung on cotton thread (one of the earliest Aguilar "lyre" necklaces I sold was strung on cotton as well) and has a spring ring clasp. Not signed for maker nor metal content or origin, it is adorned by an elongated cascabela attached to the central station in an adorable yet naive way...

This interesting pin exhibits a streamlined design and was made by the Rytosztuka collective of Krakow, Poland. It features a vivid, prong-set teal green and white marbled glass cabochon, applied to a thin squared rod. The original rollover clasp is original and secure. The back shows the Polish registry mark for Krakow, 1963-1986 and .800 silver, as well as the RYT mark for the maker and a C7, possibly a mark that is particular to this workshop. A lightly hammered sterling silver bangle bracelet signed by the artist, Walter Tofel of Bennington, Vermont.
