An elegant gilt sterling silver oval brooch by Kirk in the "Repousse" pattern. Kirk made a range of jewelry in this pattern but only a few were then gilt. With the addition of a bail to the back, this pin would make a very striking vertical pendant. The back is stamped with Kirk's hallmark from the 1932-61 period.

Here is a sensational sterling bangle with fretwork and crushed turquoise. Signed JEG Taxco 925 with an eagle 2. Weighing 53 grams, the inner diameter (closed) is just shy of 2-1/4" and the piece is 7/8" wide. Remnants of polish. The photos make the turquoise appear green but it is blue with a hint of green.

A silver marcasites chariot & goats shell cameo pin brooch from 1900 1920. This unusual and beautiful vintage .800 silver filigree mounted shell cameo brooch has a barrel or trombone clasp, the setting is stamped with two marks that are difficult to make out as well as ITALY 800, and the hand carved shell cameo depicts a winged putto or angel figure in a chariot being pulled by two rearing goats (as they are wont to do...)...

An irregular shaped piece of amber is mounted in a handmade bezel. The mounting is decorated with hand-applied silver biomorphic protrusions. The bailbears the Krakow mark for .916 silver, with an additional mark indicating added metal, although all of the metal tests as silver. The pendant measures 2 ½ inches long, including the bail and jump ring, and 1 3/8 inches wide.

Early Mexico City open backed repousse cuff looks so fabulous without being embossed around the background of the roses because it makes the repousse really pop. This is a 1 10/16th in. wide and the diameter is 2.5in. There are no repairs, no dents and no light holes that come from poorly pressed silver. The roses are brisk and superbly dimensional. An excellent example and fabulous on.

There are some pieces of jewelry that simply defy any effort to photograph them. And this stunning Taxco modernist sterling silver and blue spinel hinged bangle is one of them - a really tough one at that too! This delicate, charming silver gilt bar pin features lavender guilloche enamel work surrounded by a thin border of black enamel and a milligrain-like textured edge. Three circles of white enamel grace each end of the pin. The pin bears the mark of Marius Hammer, Bergen, Norway (1847-1927), and dates to the early 20th century. The original C-clasp has been expertly replaced; the piece retains its original pin stem. It measures 1 5/8 inches long by a little over ¼ inch wide at the center.

This beautiful bracelet measures 7 3/4". It consists of gold filled, circular links containing alternating, "caged" pearls and jade beads. The spring ring clasp is marked 1/20 12K - GF. The connector loop is marked 12K GF and has the marker's mark for Binder Bothers: BB in interlocking circles. This bracelet is circa 1950 and in excellent condition. This sterling silver link bracelet is set with six-sided pieces of green glass. The glass is bezel-mounted and secured with strap work; four leaf-shaped pillows surround the glass on each pane. This stunning bracelet is composed of an applied cast floral layer on a plain, hinged bangle bracelet, with a secure tongue-and-groove clasp and security chain. The tongue bears French import marks that guarantee a silver content of at least .800, and probably dates anywhere from the 1930s to the 1950s. The back is hallmarked GD & Co (for Gustav Dahlgren & Co.), M (city mark for Malmo), then, the Swedish National triple crown hallmark, S (in hexagon, indicating 830 silver or higher) and K9 for 1960. The back is also signed what looks like Gillgren in script. It is in great condition.
