A nice Edwardian silver watch chain with striped niello decoration on alternate links between smaller gilt links. The chain is finished with a niello swivel dog clip at one end and a large bolt with repousse and gilt decoration on the other. The chain is stamped with Swiss 800 silver marks used 1882-1934.

Gorgeous period art nouveau sheath with nude woman playing the harp sitting in the ocean waves with birds flying above by Unger Brothers, Newark, c.1905. The sheath probably held and can hold a comb, nail file, etc. and measures 3 7/8" long by 13/16" wide and the opening is 1/8" thick(so item should be a bit thinner) by 3/4" long. Before William Spratling brought Taxco to life, popular jewelry all over the world was being made by spinning silver and turning it into beautiful designs in filigree. Elegant silver filigree brooch, a Norwegian solje. Less exuberant in style than most filigree solje brooches, without any enamel or gilt - just two shimmering roundels and the traditional chains holding the little pendant ornaments. Silver standard mark 830S and the pin hook with the three crowns of the Swedish hallmark – the brooch was made around 1900 when Sweden and Norway were united (the union was dissolved in 1905). Width "1 ½ / 3.7 and height "2/ 5.3 cm. Condition: fine.

These beautiful sterling silver cufflinks are marked for Unger Bros and sterling. The flower-patterned ovals are linked by chain and are the epitome of Art Nouveau. One oval, darn it, is a plain replacement. Each oval is 7/8" x 3/4". Circa 1910.

This pretty and detailed pin might depict St. Catherine (patroness of young maidens and female scholars – we like her!). There is a wheel in the background (possibly a “Catherine Wheel,” but it could also just be a ship's wheel or a spinning wheel), and a flower in the foreground. This brooch has a wonderful design. It is circular with a stamped and engraved border and a central star design. Its diameter is 1 1/4". It is hallmarked with the stylized k (for the year 1909), the anchor (for Birmingham) and The Lion Passant (for 925 sterling silver). It also has the hallmark S & Co., representing the silversmith. This 72.8 grams sterling quintessential Art Nouveau oversized 4.5" brooch is most likely the boldest, heaviest Unger Bros brooch on the net. This circa 1900 "C" catch sash buckle ornament pin with "hasp" is marked: "Sterling 925 Fine" Unger Brothers. They were known for their "repousse" look on thick silver. Many of their pieces are unmarked, making this a very collectible piece. Very fine condition with slightly wavy pin stem, perfect for this age.
