Lovely vintage brooch by Mikimoto featuring five stunning pearls set in a triple arch of sterling silver. The pearls, graduating from 5 to 5.5 mm, are of the finest quality. The body color is white with an ivory overtone. The lustre is excellent. The back of the brooch is stamped with Mikimoto's hallmark and "S" for sterling.

This very Victorian grooming chatelaine is from the 1800s. It has a Chinese fish motif at the top, and dangling from that are 3 implements: a tweezers, one for cleaning nails, and an ear-cleaning device. (We saw a similar chatelaine on eBay, and the ear-cleaning implement was advertised as a device for opium users, but we don’t think so! However, as non-opium users, we could be wrong ….) It is unmarked but tests positive for silver, and with a patina consistent with age...

This is a very unusual ring. It is a size 6. It consists of "striated" sterling silver with lovely loops topped by genuine pearls. It has 4 hallmarks on the band that I cannot decipher. It is in excellent condition.

Circa 1930's to early 1940's, this is a dramatic necklace from Mexico City silversmith JGD, one of several artisans in this early era who produced this type of folk art jewelry. Composed of eighteen panels, each with a faceted amethyst and fourteen turquoise cabochons. Length is 17", width is 1 1/2". Weight is 183.9 grams. Dramatic large hand made sterling Mayan face/headdress pin by LOS CASTILLO, Mexico, 1942. Measures 3 1/4" by 2 1/4" and signed "LOS CASTILLO TAXCO STERLING MADE IN MEXICO 530". This pin has a barette-type of closure. However, the points are very sharp so is not a barette but rather an alternate type of pin closure. RARE OFFERING:Presented for sale is a historic place card holder for James Hagerty at a meeting between President Eisenhower and Lopez Mateos in the Hotel El Mirador on Feb.19,1959, hand made by Los Castillo, Mexico,1959. An incredibly detailed sterling silver pin depicting a boxer dog. The workmanship is simply outstanding, with every tiny detail of the dog’s fur, wrinkles, etc. fully worked in this deeply three-dimensional brooch. The back is hallmarked “Ballou Sterling”. B. A. Ballou was founded in Providence, RI in the 1870s.

I love these William Spratling all silver tulip earrings. They are 1in. x .75in. in size and they are 3/8th's thick in the centers. The depth is outstanding as well as they are the perfect companion with the tulip necklace just listed. Excellent condition and properly hallmarked as shown.

Wonderful post modern hand made sterling and gold ring by Novak, c. 1970's. Of very large dimension, the design shows a soaring bird with a gold head flying high above the band. The gold is directly soldered to the silver. The wing span measures 1 7/8" wide and stands 1" above the band and is size 8 1/4. This bracelet is quite sought after. It is the Silpada sterling silver "Cha Cha" Toggle bracelet. It measures 7 1/2" long. It's marked 925 and stamped with the Silpada maker's mark. It's in excellent condition.
