A rare hand wrought modernist link bracelet and matching earrings in Sterling Silver by the well respected jewelry teacher and author, Philip Morton. He is the author of the book "Contemporary Jewelry" where he demonstrates jewelry making techniques and highlights talented and noteworthy artisans. He helped found the Society of North American Goldsmiths in 1968.

Bracelet measures 7 1/4" long and 5/8" at the widest. Hook closure fastens securely...

A vintage modernist necklace with a textured and polished silver pendant on what looks like the original chain by the master sculptor and artist from Ecuador, Oswaldo Guayasamin. Has 5 dangles suspended from the bottom and a central polished concave disk dangling from the center.

The central pendant measures 1 1/4" across and 2 1/2" long with the large bales and dangles. The chain measures about 25" long and has a secure hook closure...

A vintage modernist sterling silver cuff bracelet by Hans Hansen, Denmark. Measures about 6 1/4" around with an opening of 3/4" and 1 1/8" at the widest. Marked with script Hans Hansen, Denmark, 925S and design number 213. Designed by Bent Gabrielsen. In fine condition with very minor surface scratches and a little tarnish. Sleek and well crafted. Great example of Scandinavian modernist design.

This silver and enamel pin represents the armed forces, WWII, commemorated sons of the military service. It is shaped like a heart, making it a sweetheart pin as well. This pin is sterling silver and enamel. It measures 1/2" x 1/2". It is circa 1940s and is in excellent condition.

Sterling tie bar or money clip by William Spratling, Mexico, c.1938. Measures 2 1/4" long and is signed "SPRATLING SILVER MADE IN MEXICO". Has original gold wash which can be polished off. Excellent condition......$11 for insured US shipping.

Spratling designed this pin in 1942 as part of a series of items depicting continental solidarity. The pin shows clasped hands superimposed over a gold gilded map of the western hemisphere. This pin was made in two sizes, this being the larger at 1 1/2" x 1 1/4". The fastener is a two pronged clip. Both pin and original fastener are in excellent condition. In 1942 Macy's Dept. Store did an entire window dedicated to this design...

A choice of two modernist rings by Lapponia in sterling silver, designed by Björn Weckström is available. May purchase individually or as a pair.

The first ring has a lightly textured surface as seen in the Space series. This ring is a size 6.5-7. May be able to adjust slightly due to the open nature of the design. The band measures 3/8" wide. It is in fine condition with minor surface wear.

This sterling stork has a curly tail, leaves for feet and angel like wings. The body is a very large kite shaped reversed carved blue rhinestone. All of this in a sterling setting. Notice that this stork has a blue rhinestone for his beak. It is hallmarked "sterling" on the back. Excellent condition. It measures 3 1/2" x 2 2/3" .

Stunning very big Art Deco / Arts & Crafts silver ring with a large rectangular smoky quartz stone in a prong setting. German, circa 1920, marked 835 for silver content. The stone, which has many naturally occurring inclusions, has been verified by a gemologist. Ring size 8. The top is just under 7/8 inch square. The stone is 17mm by 15mm. Excellent condition. No losses or cracks in the stone. Display form is life size. Photos enlarged to show detail.

Great architecturally designed silver and amethyst handmade pin by Kasityo, Finland, 1965. There are 2 different silver finishes - flat and grainy - that work together well. The piece is signed "KASITYO JOSE (CROWN IN HEART)FINLAND 813H(silver content) M7(1965) ANCHOR symbol made in Lahti(city) and is in excellent condition. The handmade lock is decorative and lovely. Being offered is a rare circa 1960 handmade .940 silver (better than sterling which is .925) necklace designed by Hector Aguilar of Taxco, Mexico. Antonio Pineda is one of the most celebrated Maestro's from the Mexican Silver Renaissance. This iconic bracelet was not just designed it was engineered with high sweeps that come to a peak and an amethyst that one pushes to open. Photos show a side view of the mechanism. The design bends and refracts light that catches the eyes of all who pass you by. There is no damage to the bracelet and closes with a crisp click. You will see glare in my pictures...

This is an early piece by Matilde Poulat, with hallmarks dating 1930's - 40's. Collector quality, with turquoise cabochons and branch coral. Absolutely gorgeous, measures 7" long without the tongue portion of the clasp, 1 1/2" wide. Weight is 67.3 grams. Signed and hallmarked as shown. Stones are all original. In excellent vintage condition.

Circa mid-century, here is one of Margot's early and most beloved designs. Hand-wrought with world class repoussé silver work, it's crazy killer gorgeous. Will not fail to be noticed. Measures a closed, wearable length of 6 3/4", with a width of 1 7/16". Weight is 79.6 grams. Closure is a tight and secure tongue in box, with original safety chain. In excellent vintage condition.

An interesting Sterling Silver brooch by Miyé Matsukata who had Atelier Janiyé in Boston. This piece reminds us of a stylized 'eye'. Has a three dimensional effect.
