Beautiful sterling silver bracelet signed by Los Castillo circa 1950's. Weight 90 grams, 3.01 oz. 2 repousse curved fern frond silver leafs connected by a tight spring hinge are used to form a bracelet 3 1/2" wide at the front tapering to 1 1/8" at the back. The inner circumference of the bracelet when closed measures 6 1/2" but expands to fit a larger wrist or arm. This design can probably be attributed to Margot de Taxco during the time that she was married to Antonio Castillo...

Margot van Voorhies was married to Antonio Castillo and they opened Los Castillo where Margot became well known for her designs. After a divorce she opened her own taller Margot de Taxco. This is design number 5213 the hearts. You see this design with glass or amethyst centers but this one is a rare sterling dome. The length is 15 inches and is 1 1/8th inches tall. The links are without damage and is properly hallmarked as shown. A treasure of collector quality, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE.

This rare and beautiful bracelet by the famous Matilde Poulat features two silver repousse Doves at the center set with Turquoise, Coral and Amethyst stones with side links set with small Turquoise. A delightful Imperial Austrian silver brooch set with three reverse-carved Essex crystals by the Imperial jeweler Georg Adam Scheid. The domed pin is finely engraved in a basket-weave motif and is pierced by three Essex crystals, each depicting a lap dog, perhaps a Pekingese. The dogs are well carved and colored, with tiny blue bows under their chins. The crystals never had a mother-of-pearl backing like those produced in England and France. Except in France, Essex crystals were not widely used ...

Vintage Signed Sterling Silver 5 dome pin brooch with "C" catch marked: MAISEL'S STERLING for the Albuquerque New Mexico maker of Native American jewelry of years past. It is 2 3/8" X 1/2" @ widest, this being the smallest dome at 10mm while the mid one is 13mm. Slightest hint of a very shallow dimple that even the camera won't pick up and the "C" catch is a bit askew yet very secure.
Similar seen recently on Jane Russell in an old black and white western movie.

Here are two charming sterling silver scatter pins formed as ladies’ heads complete with bonnets and flowing hair. They are typical of the highly detailed cast work of Unger Bros., of Newark, NJ, during the Art Nouveau period. Both have secure C-clasps; one looks to have been replaced, perhaps during the 1920s. The fine features are intact and the maker’s mark well struck. Each pin measures 3/4 inch long by 5/8 inch wide. 4.4 grams total

This is a wonderful brooch in sterling measuring 1 1/2 x 1 1/4" x 1/8". Characteristic of Clam pin with dark pearl in the middle. It has been said George W. Shiebler naturalistic motifs such as insects, animals, leaves and flowers. Scarce on the market and very collectible.

Composed of twenty panels with a rimmed hubcap design, the links alternate with rounds and indented on the sides so that they fit into each other. Each panel measures 1 3/16" tall, 13/16" wide. Closes with a ribbed J hook and eye.

Breathtakingly beautiful this vintage sterling silver cuff bracelet, Navajo or Southwestern based on the style, is one of those pieces that become heirlooms. Exceptionally well crafted, it is centered by a huge oval lace agate, the color of the stone showing at times powdery blue, at times light grey. Based on an original, almost impossible to find Margot de Taxco design, the repousse "swans-in-a-row" bracelet I am presenting here is wrought in fine, .980 silver and is a little masterpiece. I think suggesting that "A.E.M", whose initials can be found on it, was a maestro who worked for the Los Castillo and/or Margot de Taxco is not a far-fetched hypothesis. Not only is this piece very close to Margot's creation, it is also extremely well made, very sculptural and has crisp, rich detail to it....
