A massive silver ring by Antonio Belgiorno, Buenos Aires, c 1940-50. The geometric design and the use of oxidizing is typical of Belgiorno, who is one of Argentina’s most well known artists in silver. A solid piece of jewelry that really makes a statement. This bracelet is hallmarked Mexico Silver and it is a refreshing take on a Spratling design but leaving it to be all of it's own originality. There are 6 turquoise snake eye stones on the cuffs of the hands. The amethyst balls are free of any damage and they are 5/8th's in. wide and have a gorgeous deep purple color.
