A Mid Century Modernist pair of screw back earrings in two layers of sterling silver by Peggy Miller, an American studio jeweler who worked in Baltimore in the 1950's -60's. These earrings measure 3/4" across one end and 5/8"across on the other end. Measure 7/8" high. Screw backs hold securely. Signed Peggy Miller Sterling on the back of each earring. This handsome pin is simple yet smart, hand wrought with incised details. It is formed as a jagged-edge leaf and bears the mark of Bob Ford, Canada; it is also marked handmade. This Georg Jensen circle pin features a deeply molded twisted rope design that continues all the way around. The design is enhanced with simple, scored rectangular elements at the halfway points. The secure rollover clasp is also sterling and original to the pin. The back is marked with the Jensen and sterling marks, the design number of 254, and Denmark. A massive, amazing vintage bracelet in 970 silver with 6 cabachon amethysts by Antonio Pineda. The randomly placed stones are deeply set into the silver and appear to be almost floating. The cuff measures 5 1/4" around in the inside plus an additional 1 1/2" opening. It is 2 3/4" wide at all points and weighs 177 grams. This is a heavy bracelet but remarkably comfortable on. This piece is truly a show stopper and I believe to be quite rare...

This substantial sterling silver bangle bracelet features a classic mid-century modernist design of an oblong shape with two flattened sides. The sides, however, are thicker and a little more rounded than the more common interpretation. It is marked inside with the Mexico Eagle 1 and the maker’s initials of ESM. The surface exhibits a nicely aged patina, with a hint of tarnish. Inner dimensions are 2 1/2 inches by 2 1/8 inches. Weight: 33.2 grams

Not much is known about Industria Argentina, except that they produced exceptionally designed and crafted jewelry in the 1950s and '60s. This weighty silver ring is typical of their purist modernist aesthetic.

Size 6. Marked "Industria Argentina, Buenos Aires," and hallmarked 900 for silver fineness. Quite substantial at 11.9 grams. Excellent vintage condition.

Shaped as stylized heads, they are hollow cast and pierced for stringing. Faces show on both sides of the beads. One bead has a casting imperfection on one side (see Photo #1); the other side is intact. There are a total of 19 beads; strung together they measure 9 inches long. They are possibly Mexican. This silver pin evokes the late Arts and Crafts era with its hammered-look surface and serpentine vines, though it is definitely later. The applied coral-colored glass bead centers offer a nice splash of color. The hooded clasp completes the artisan look.
