A mid century modernist pendant by the American studio jeweler, Paul Miller. This piece is constructed of 2 overlapping triangles with a third textured triangle overlay.
Measures 2" long and 1 1/4" at the widest. Marked Sterling and Paul Miller on the back. Has a little tarnish and a few minor surface scratches.
Could be worn on either a chain, neck ring or cord. Very fine example of his work.
This silver bracelet is composed of a complex series of interwoven links, some cast to appear as wound with wires. The tongue-and-groove clasp is quite secure, and there are jump rings for connecting a safety chain if needed. The back of the clasp is marked Argentina with an obscured lozenge mark that most likely indicates silver content, likely .900. The bracelet shows a strong test for silver. It measures 7 ½ inches long by about ½ inch wide. Weight: 26.4 grams
A bold beautiful Mexican Silver & Amethyst bracelet by the famous Fred Davis. Each of the six heavy sterling silver links is set at the center with a deep purple amethyst cabochon stone. The bracelet measures 8" long by 1 1/4" wide and it weighs 60.7 grams. Hallmarked with the FD mono, Silver Mexico. Some light age related wear and tarnish. The amethyst have the typical inclusions and are smooth to the touch. Fold over clasp. A fantastic bracelet by an important jeweler.
We have an Antonio Pineda high sheen obsidian bracelet today with a wearable of 7 inches and a height of 1.25 in. tall. A substantial bracelet with a weight of 90 grams and no chips or damage to the silver. Part of the hallmark wraps under the clasp. You will see glare and areas with patina. This signed Antonio Pineda is featured in the book SILVER SEDUCTION THE ART OF MEXICAN MODERNIST ANTONIO PINEDA BY GOBI STROMBERG.
From a Cape Cod collector one finds this sleek curvilinear silver cuff bracelet stamped: STERLING with a fab picture jasper cab as the focal point. Modernist, Native American and Mexican jewelry makers have crafted this look through the years. Elegant silver pin brooch with two cabochon cut amethyst stones surrounded by leaf vines in Art Nouveau / Jugendstil. Made in Germany c 1910 and marked 835 for the silver content. Swedish import mark (three crowns in an oval and S). Width "2/ 5.5 cm, height "3/4/ 1.8 cm. Condition: fine.
A modernist ring by Lapponia in sterling silver, 'Erosion'. Has a light purple cast similar to the Flame finish seen on bronze pieces.
Marked with the Lapponia Hallmark, 925, Finnish silver standard mark, and X7, the date code for 1975.
The front of the ring measures 1 1/4" long. Ring is a size 6.5-7. May be able to adjust slightly due to the open nature of the design.
Fine condition. Heavy and bold. Wonderful example of Scandinavian design.
This ring has a great design and measures just over 1/2" wide. It is a size 11. It is marked MEXICO TM-158 925. It has good heft and is in excellent condition.
Greenish white jade bead necklace. It is made up of 45 beads. The central pearl is the largest, having a diameter of 15mm, the other pearls are of decreasing diameter. The clasp is in gilt filigree silver and is hallmarked "silver" on the reverse.Probably Chinese work from the 20th century.The colour is a very pale green The color is a pretty very pale green (the photo is correct for the colour).

Cini sterling Zodiac Taurus pin is 1 5/8 wide by 1 1/2" tall. It is Hallmarked STERLING BY CINI with a copyright symbol" in a rectangle box.
In 1979, Cini died.
Rafael Melendez worked for Spratling when he first opened his taller de las Delicias. Melendez left to open his own Taller in 1939. This is one of his earliest marks that was done in 980 silver. Some of the Silver repousse links have Matl like glyphs. The silver sets up the onyx stones in the cross giving it great depth and dimension. Having a large presence the necklace is 20.75 in. with the extension and 15in. without it...
A sterling silver modernist link bracelet by Phyllis Sklar, American Mid Century jeweler. Has two layers of sterling with darkened areas for an interesting effect. Measures 6 3/4" long and 3/4" at the widest. Has both the phyllis and stylized 'p' hallmarks and sterling. Hook closure. Has some tarnish and minor surface scratches. Better for a smaller wrist although an extender could be added. Classic Phyllis design.
A magnificent and rare sterling and striped agate bracelet by Bent Knudsen, Denmark, circa 1950. The highly polished striped agate stones absolutely pop and the oval shape is a great contrast in design to the alternating square links with cut out circles. The bracelet measures 7 1/4"-7 1/2" around in the inside when closed and is 1 3/4" wide. It weighs a very hefty 137 grams. The original safety chain is intact. Fine original condition, no chips or cracks to the stones...
An iconic bracelet from Georg Jensen, this is his design #14. Hand-wrought with exquisite repoussé silver work, this piece is composed of four panels. Measures a closed, wearable length of 6 7/8", with a 7/8" width. Weight is 44.3 grams. Signed and hallmarked with a post 1945 Georg Jensen with a dotted circle, Denmark, Sterling, with the design #14. In excellent vintage condition with a warm patina.
A well crafted sterling silver brooch by the Chicago silversmith Bjarne Meyer. Beautifully hand hammered silver. Bjarne Meyer later worked for Georg Jensen, USA.
Measures almost 2" across and 1 1/4" high.
Marked Sterling and Handwrought by Bjarne. Has an intricate three dimensional repousse floral design and a central turquoise cabochon.
In fine condition with minor tarnish. Rollover clasp holds securely.
Wonderful example of Arts and Crafts silver work.
Matilde Poulat needs no introduction to the seasoned Mexican silver collector but I believe her work is equally appreciated by all lovers of bold, earthy, hand-crafted jewelry. Matl’s creations have a unique, powerful character - there is nothing timid or hesitant about them and I cherish them for exactly that. Silver gilt filigree and enamel brooch by Topazio, depicting a lovely Portuguese lady with a basket of grapes. Figures in elegantly traditional dress are found in many of Topazio’s pieces from the 1920’s and 30’s. The chains fixed to the pin makes the brooch move, and so draws attention to its wearer.
