This extremely exciting and entertaining piece is circa 1970s. It is slightly convex. The back is marked with the eagle number 20, STERLING. It is also marked HECHO EN MEXICO DF, 925 and a maker's mark that resembles conjoined letters - see pictures. The pin / brooch has a diameter of 1 5/8". This is quite an unusual piece, has good heft and is in excellent condition.

These elegant earrings by Antonio Pineda have a great modernist design with their gorgeous combination of silver and deep Black Onyx stones. They measure 1/2" X 1/2" and together they weigh 12.2 grams. Hallmarked on both earrings with the Antonio Taxco crown they are in good vintage condition with minor age related wear and tarnish and the screw backs are in good working order. This fascinating reliquary locket depicts a saint, probably St. Peter, holding a key (to the church? Or perhaps to heaven?), with a dove in the background. On the other side is a photograph of an ecclesiastical-looking person. It contains a touched relic (a bit of ribbon which has been touched to a saint’s bone or something worn by a saint); a tiny metal medal with Mary on one side, saying "Mary conceived without sin” and more Christian imagery on the other; and a wisp of cotton...

Wonderful post modern hand made sterling and gold ring by Novak, c. 1970's. Of very large dimension, the design shows a soaring bird with a gold head flying high above the band. The gold is directly soldered to the silver. The wing span measures 1 7/8" wide and stands 1" above the band and is size 8 1/4.
