These beautiful, sterling silver earrings have a classic Mexican, 1940's design. They are screwbacks, and measure 1" x 1" x 1". The central stones are bezel-set: green chalcedony / jade. Each earring's back is marked HECHO EN MEXICO D.F. 925, with a maker's mark of JP inside a rectangle. The D.F. stands for Distrito Federal: made in Mexico City.

This is "The Armadillo" cuff. (The necklace is no longer available). It was designed circa 1945-50 by Valentin Vidaurreta and made by master silversmith Manuel Altamirano who worked for Valentin and also for Hector Aguilar. It is featured on page 198 of the book SILVER MASTERS OF MEXICO by Penny C. Morrill. The cuff is 5 1/2" around in the inside plus a 1 1/2" opening. It is 1 5/8" wide in the front and in fine all original condition with no damage or repairs...

A vintage modernist sterling silver necklace by Taxco artisan, Erika Hult de Corral. Has alternating sterling bars and dotted spheres. Marked Ric, Taxco SA, Hecho en Mexico and 925. Measures 15 3/4" long. Has some minor surface scratches and a little tarnish. Clasp snaps securely. Pre Eagle- Pre 1948. Classic RIC design. Being offered is an exceedingly rare circa 1940 sterling silver bracelet by Fred Davis of Taxco, Mexico. Early piece by one of the pioneers of the premiere Taxco Silver ateliers. Handwrought panels featuring alternating tribal masks and triangular panels with oxidized detail; supported by incised links. Dimensions: 7” size, panels are 3/4" wide. Marked as illustrated. A rare pair of sterling silver and enamel scarab cuff links by the well known Danish silversmith, Erik Magnussen. After working at Gorham and having his own shops in Chicago and New York, he opened a shop in Hollywood and designed for the stars. He returned to Denmark in 1939.

An R.C.A.F. Royal Canadian Air Force sterling bracelet 1940s. This 7-7/8" bracelet has a scissors clasp and the central 1-1/2 x 7/8" link has an applied enamelled RCAF crest. It has the monogram HENRY CROSS R-179130 and it is stamped BIRKS STERLING on the back. It weighs 17.9 grams, and it is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a patina of minor wear from age...

Classic Hector Aguilar Lyre necklace in 940 silver featured in all of the books on Mexican Silver. Measuring 16 1/4" end to end , it is 3/4" wide. Fine original condition and signed as shown. One of Aguilars' most recognizable pieces and always spectacular.

The flowers appear to be floating in air on your wrist. The leaves balance the underside. All of this is orchestrated by a simple twisted wire frame. There is great depth with the construction of each flower. The beauty of this cuff is displayed in 2 inches of height and 7inches wearable length including the gap of just under one inch. You can see from the back that the flowers are open backed repousse made with thick silver. No chips or dents...

Based on an original, almost impossible to find Margot de Taxco design, the repousse "swans-in-a-row" bracelet I am presenting here is wrought in fine, .980 silver and is a little masterpiece. I think suggesting that "A.E.M", whose initials can be found on it, was a maestro who worked for the Los Castillo and/or Margot de Taxco is not a far-fetched hypothesis. Not only is this piece very close to Margot's creation, it is also extremely well made, very sculptural and has crisp, rich detail to it...

Very rare Hector Aguilar bracelet that measures 1.25 in. tall and 7 in. long. The pyramids have a measurement of 10 mm. in height giving the bracelet great dimension. 87 grams is the weight and the patina is natural and gorgeous. The condition is without repairs and damage. It seriously appears to have hardly been worn. I do not like to use the word rare as all of these treasure made by the top tier Maestros are rare but this one deserves that title. An excellent example and collector quality.
