In the 1920s an archaeological find was made near an old farm in southern Sweden, a bronze key from the 9th century, the Viking era. It depicts a phantasy animal in a ring where the ends - traditional Celtic or Viking monster heads - are holding the key blade. The key is sometimes called the Key to Heaven, though Valhalla would be more suitable since Scandinavia at the time was not yet Christian. This massive silver copy was made by W A Bolin in Stockholm in the 1960s...

A pair of 1" diameter and 5/16" wide sterling silver and 10k yellow gold hoop pierced earrings. They are stamped AAJ 10K on the ear wire and the pin mount is stamped STG. The central gold ring has a textured finish and they weigh 6.3 grams. These earrings are in mostly excellent condition with no corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a small dent. Rare kinetic showstopper designed by Bent Gabrielsen while he worked for iconic Danish silversmith Hans Hansen. In textured sterling silver with a dangling disc that has a gold wash. The disc has a pitted texture which contrasts beautifully against the vertical pattern of the body of the pendant. This is a large, bold piece, measuring 3.25". Excellent condition. "Signed "Hans Hansen, 925s Denmark."

Very rare brass and enamel pin signed "MACCHIARINI", c.1940's. Peter Macchiarini(deceased) was a very famous San Francisco modernist jewelry designer and his works are extremely desirable. The provenance of this piece has been identified by his son, Dan Macchiarini. He states that it was a private commission by someone wanting a clown face. This turned out to be a joint venture between Peter and his then student, Virginia De Haas, whom he later married...

A 1930s pair of French gilt sterling rhinestone earrings. These 1-3/8 x 3/4" gilt .950 sterling clip-on earrings have white flashy rhinestones and they are stamped with (very tiny) French silver marks. They weigh 7.4 grams, and they are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use...

Fabulous & fun sterling silver bracelent by MATTI J HYVARINEN for Finnish company SIROKORU. Measures 7 1/2" long x 1" wide. The blue gemstone spheres move freely inside channels, giving the piece incredible kinetic motion. Fully hallmarked, with date stamp V7 for 1974. Excellent vintage condition.

This sweet brooch depicts two adorable cupids, a boy and a girl, looking serene and loving. Their plique a jour (translucent enamel) wings are a pale purple or mauve color, nicely complimenting the 900 silver. The girl is wearing a tiny necklace of roses. The pin measures 1” x 1-3/4” and weighs 5.7g. The clasp might be a replacement, but the rest is all original, and the pin is in excellent antique condition...

The clasp is marked Sterling with some other hallmarks that are too tiny to read. Has minor surface scratches.
