Elegant peaked link necklace in 940 silver by Mexican silversmith Hector Aguilar. This necklace is a choker style that sits perfectly on the neck and terminates with a hook closure. A 19th century Scottish sterling silver banded agate pebble buckle brooch pin. From the early to mid-Victorian era, this large and dramatic pin measures 2-7/8 x 2-1/2". Design measures 5/8" high and 5/8" across. Ring measures about a 7 and can be adjusted up or down.
Marked with the intertwined TH for Turun Hopea, Crown mark for Finland, 830 for silver standard, Town Mark for Turku and date code U7 for 1973.
Solid and in fine condition. Has some scratches to the band. Great bold design.
This iconic sterling silver brooch was designed & signed circa 1950's by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling (1900-67). The eyes of the dragonfly are finished with a copper wash. An organic mid century modern brooch by the American studio jeweler, Paul Miller. This brooch, executed in sterling silver with an interesting marbleized stone, measures 2 7/8" long and 1 1/2" at the widest. Marked Sterling, Paul Miller on the back. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds tightly. Has a little tarnish and a few minor surface scratches. Very fine example of his work.

K&P started up in 1887 and specialized in hand made sterling silver and imitation stones jewelry. The diameter of the little paste flowers is "1/4 / 8 mm, each with impressed KP shield mark and 925. A sterling silver enamel military sweetheart brooch pin 1900-1920. This large, lavish Art Nouveau design 2-1/2" x 1-7/16" pin features subtle and lovely lavender enamel flowers and borders, and it is on a textured sterling ground. There is a soldered shield with a central maple leaf applied to the pin, and it has blackened borders around the details - I believe it is a World War One or a Boer War period sweetheart or wives brooch...
