This impressive sterling silver pin features a decoration of detailed engraved flowers and latticework. It was made by the LaPierre Mfg. Co. of Newark, NJ, and New York City, and bears the maker’s mark on the back, as well as the sterling mark. It has a very secure C-clasp and tube hinge typical of the period. The brooch measures 2 7/8 inches by 2 3/8 inches.

This interesting fob is the setting for a sterling coin. It is a Prussian 2 Mark coin. On one side is the face of Friedrich (presumably) and his wife, a Maltese cross, and the words “FRIEDRICH * I * 1701 * WILHELM * II * 1901”; on the other side is an eagle with a crown above, and “DEUTSCHES REICH 1901 ZWEI MARK”. The rest is white metal. The swivel clasp has a mark, which looks like a plow. We haven’t been able to track it down...

Two period arts & crafts pins made of copper and silver plate. The first shows a house and landscape scene and measures 1 1/2" by 1 1/4". The second is a bar pin and measures 2" by 1/2". Early 20th century silver and rhinestone or paste earrings, from Knoll & Pregizer in Pforzheim, Germany. K&P started up in 1887 and specialized in hand made sterling silver and imitation stones jewelry. The diameter of the little paste flowers is "1/4 / 8 mm, each with impressed KP shield mark and 925. Condition: fine.

An Arts and Crafts sterling silver pendant necklace by the Art Silver Shop of Chicago. Pendant has a large, cushion shaped carnelian cabochon. Pendant measures 2 1/4" long and 1 1/4" across. Marked on the back with Hand Made, conjoined TASS and Sterling. Chain is 20" long and looks to be original to the pendant. Has a spring closure marked Sterling. Fine condition, Has some minor surface scratches and a little tarnish. Beautifully made. Great example.

This maple leave pin consists of plique a jour enamel in a sterling silver setting. This lovely pin is highlighted with paste accent stones along the main leaf veins. The green plique is a very nice rich color. The pin seems to be missing one leaf, however, someone filled in the space with a pretty drop made of green agate, so the loss is hardly noticeable. It is centered by a faux pearl. The enamel itself is in good shape, with only a few hairline cracks - normal in all but the very best pieces...

This beautiful pendant is straight out of the Arts & Crafts movement; it’s very much in the style of Horner, but it’s unsigned. It is enameled in an intense blue with areas of a much lighter blue. The dropper shades from a pale green through a lighter blue into an intense blue, echoing the color of the main part of the pendant. The back is marked “sterling silver”, and the dropper is marked “silver”. It measures 1-3/8 x 1-3/16, and is on a modern 18” sterling chain...

This is one of our favorite pins! The colors are so pretty, and the leafy design is so very Arts & Crafts-y! It has a berry and leaf motif, highlighted by a central cushion-cut cabochon blue chalcedony (thought to bring good luck), with a round green aventurine cabochon on either side. Measuring 1-1/4” x 3/8", it is unmarked but tests as silver. It is in excellent condition, although the pin is a little bent (pretty typical for these old pieces)...

A nicely designed Edwardian silver Baisse Taille enamel octagonal pin c1910-15. This 1" pin has a deep purple border and a central columnar section with lovely opalescent enamel. A scarce form, and we've only seen a few of these lockets. This is an Edwardian sterling silver 1-1/2 x 1-1/8" photo locket pendant with hinged photo "pages" which hold two photographs each. This silver and lapis lazuli necklace was designed by Georg Jensen in 1915 and is known as design #26 (stamped on the back). The inner length is a hair under 17" (43.2cm). This lovely sky-blue enameled pendant tests as silver, probably sterling. It has two shades of light blue enamel on the front, highlighted by flourishes in silver. The dropper is also enameled in shaded hues of blue. The enamel continues on the back in sky blue – such wonderful attention to detail! Excluding the bale, it is 1-1/2” long by just under ¾” across.
