We have a Hector Aguilar cuff to offer today that is one of my favorite designs to wear. The silver is thick and is 1.5in. tall. The quality is further shown with a weight of 110 grams. Inside diameter is 2.25in. and can be professionally sized to fit if needed. The silver is deeply chased. On each side of the gap is a taller swirl than the width of the band giving it beauty all the way to it's ends. A collectors must have and all who desire a show stopper.

Measuring 27" long, this 940 sterling silver & copper necklace was designed c. 1940-50's by Taxco, Mexico artist Hector Aguilar (1905-86). The center disc is 1 1/2" wide graduating to 1/2" at the back. Weight is 124 grams. Beautiful condition & patina. Each disc is connected to the next with a silver rivet giving the design fluid movement. Signed TAXCO HA 940 eagle #9. A similar necklace is pictured on p. 140 of Silver Masters of Mexico by Penny Morrill.

This is an exceptionally rare piece produced by Antonio Pineda, with his early "Silver by Tono" hallmark which dates 1948-1953. The design speaks to the influence of Valentin Viadurreta, for whom Antonio Pineda apprenticed in Mexico City.

An antique pin with a modern vibe. This charming Arts & Crafts is made of sterling silver that has been enameled in artfully shaded blue to chartreuse to look like the wings of a stylized moth. A mother-of-pearl oval centers the body, and there is a small faceted green 'stone' (possibly glass) at the head. The pin is 1 ½ by 3/4 inches in size, not including the small spherical dropper which is enameled in a rich blue. The pin is circa 1900.

Felipe Martinez was a sculptor, then a stone cutter for Hubert Harmon, before he opened his own taller "Piedra Y Plata" in 1950.

We have a unique Los Ballesteros pectoral necklace with a drop of 2.75in.across and 2in. tall. The stone is a color changing synthetic that was widely used in the Spratling era by many tallers. The wearable length is just under 16in. Being a pectoral style the drop rests at just below the hollow of the neck and slightly tips outward making it very comfortable to wear. A vintage modernist pair of sterling silver earrings by Antonio Pineda, Taxco with onyx cabochons in the well known 'Comma' design.

Measure 3/4" at the widest and 1 1/4" high. One earring is marked with the Antonio crown and Silver. The other is marked 970, Eagle 17, and Hecho en Mexico. Screw backs hold securely.

This sterling vermeil and enamel necklace has a lovely design. Each convex, navette-shaped link is a very pretty, pearly white, basse-taille enamel. The necklace measures 16 1/4” long (x 1/2”), with a T-bar clasp. The T-bar is marked “STERLING DENMARK” and “VB” (for Volmar Bahner). This piece is in excellent condition.

Circa mid-century, these earrings produced by Hector Aguilar are rarely seen. Each earrings has five turquoise cabochons with tiny silver beading and silver loops. They remind me of baskets of turquoise flowers with handles. They are in excellent vintage condition and are collector quality. They measure 13/16" x 11/16". Weight is 11.8 grams. When you find a Hector Aguilar with stones and as exceptional as these colorful stones, you have found a rare treasure. This necklace is a bit over one inch tall and has a length of 18inches. This openwork, rectangular ring of organic form is set with a highly polished chrysoprase bead. It is unmarked, but is clearly the work of a studio jeweler. A modernist pair of pierced earrings in sterling silver, Calliope, designed by Zoltan Popovits for Lapponia Finland in 1978. These earrings feature an organic plant like design. The polished edges are in contrast to the textured surfaces.

Circa mid-century, here is one of Margot's early and most beloved designs. Hand-wrought with world class repoussé silver work, it's crazy killer gorgeous. Will not fail to be noticed. Measures a closed, wearable length of 6 3/4", with a width of 1 7/16". Weight is 79.6 grams. Closure is a tight and secure tongue in box, with original safety chain. In excellent vintage condition.

Made of gilded sterling silver, this lovely pin features intricately applied bands to imitate wirework in a scroll design. The pin is set with a pink coral-colored glass cabochon that exhibits minor wear at the very top. It has a very secure C-clasp and is marked sterling on the back. It is conservatively dated to around 1960 (could be earlier), and is possibly Asian. It measures 1 1/8 inches across.

Silver lipstick cases / holders from Italy are not a rare occurrence yet how often do you come upon a signed Peruzzi example? As difficult to find as it is beautiful, this one has it all - the signature, the warm patina, the delicate floral etched decoration and tiny little sparkling red rhinestones at the center of each dainty flower. A very striking pair of vintage sterling and aventurine handmade, one-of-a-kind earrings by Israeli Modernist designer Rachel Gera. Hanging 2 3/4" long and 1" wide, they have clip backs and weigh 29grams total. They are in fine original condition and signed as shown. Great green stones and a very fun design. Born in 1936, Rachel Gera passed away in February of this year. Her creations were all very unique.
