A first design period sterling silver cuff bracelet by William Spratling. This cuff, known as the 'Dog Bone', measures 5 3/4" around with an opening of 1 3/8" and 7/8" wide at the ends. The vining floral from the vessel has great depth with 940 silver and dark natural patina from time. The weight is 66 grams heavy with a drop of 3.5in. tall and 4in. span across. This is typical fine work by Hobe. The leaves and bow are layered. The roses go a step further by having individual petals wrap to form a circle just as real roses do.
