A pair of modernist sterling silver screw back earrings in a tulip design by the noted MCM studio jeweler, Paul Lobel. Constructed of a layer of oxidized sterling with a contrasting polished curved sterling wire overlay.

Screw backs measure 1 1/8" long and 3/4" across and hold securely. They are marked LOBEL Sterling and the screw part is marked Sterling.

Minor surface scratches. They have a warm patina and are wonderfully crafted...

This is truly an interesting and unique piece. The pendant / medallion is 2-sided. It depicts the 12 symbols of the Zodiac on the front. The center has a scroll that reads "LUCK" and/or "GOOD FORTUNE) in Hebrew (MAZEL). It has a diameter of 1 1/2". The chain is 24 1/2" long. The back displays the Zodiac names, dates and meanings of the symbols. This piece is gold tone. The front is in excellent condition. A beautiful sterling and turquoise bracelet by Frank Patania Sr. This is a unique design with a center medallion featuring three saw tooth bezel set turquoise. The cuff sides have texturing in the middle, topped with silver dots. Measuring 5 1/2" around in the inside with an additional 1 1/4" opening , it is 1 1/8" wide and weighs 61 grams. Vintage 1950's sterling silver & onyx necklace designed & signed by Taxco, Mexico modernist Antonio Pineda. Interior wearable length is 16 inches. Both stones & silver are in beautiful condition. Clasp is tight & secure. Fully hallmarked on reverse. Truly a museum quality wearable work of art, this design was included in the recent museum exhibit SILVER SEDUCTION: THE ART OF MODERNIST ANTONIO PINEDA and is pictured on p. 133 in the book of the same name by Gobi Stromberg.

A fine Italian Etruscan style 18K gold fob charm set with amethysts and pearls. The charm is shaped as a crown. The gold surfaces are enhanced with twisted wire and rosette motifs. The oval amethysts have nice medium color intensity and the pearls have good luster. The charm bears the maker’s mark of Figli di Vittoria Franconeri di Lidia (Florence).

Fabulous very unusual vintage copper cuff with inset navy blue leather. From a Philadelphia estate that had a large quantity of Arts & Crafts and Art Deco jewelry. Fabulous 1960s French collier made from goldtone metal and wired glass beads simulating different colors of jade, coral, amber, turquoise, carnelian, and lapis. Also with small goldtone metal fluted beads which I have had on another signed French necklace. Slide clasp with matching wired beads. Wonderfully designed hand made necklace by MAYA, Mexico, c.1950's after a Hubert Harmon design. Maya frequently copied Harmon designs. Looks just like silver with a great patina, but probably made of silver plate because there are no Mexican silver marks. Rare, hard-to-find 18 ct yellow gold mesh sliding bracelet with coral beaded center piece with tiny diamond in the center. Delightful Victorian hallmarked 1865 Birmingham multi-stone ring with two large diamond shaped garnets in the center, surrounded by emeralds and enveloped by a beautifully engraved 15K gold band on either end. We love the contrast in both size and color of the stones. The final photos show how pleasing rings from this decade of 1860-1870 look together on the hand. This is a distinguished pair of oval shaped gold filled cufflinks with toggles backs, each designed with a central fleur de lys on a mesh-like background surrounded with a scalloped border, the back designed with a guilloche-like design, unmarked but tests 12K gold filled. A very fine pair of double-sided cufflinks by Seaman Schepps. Each of the faces is made from a single blue sapphire that has been tumbled rather than faceted, and then set in a framework of curling gold wirework.
