A pretty 10K yellow and rose gold half-hoop wedding band, the front decorated with finely engraved roses. The flower petals are worked in rose gold for added contrast and the entire design is recessed to prevent wear to the carving. Wonderful deep carving on this sterling silver bracelet, signed by artist, titled "The Bear", 1970s era. Known as the Josephine Baker bracelet, this c1935 Bakelite and brass cuff was originally designed to hold face powder and a small square powder puff. The inner diameter of the cuff is 2 1/4" (6 cm) x 2" (5.5 cm). The opening is 1 1/4" (3.5 cm). At the widest part, the cuff measures 1 11/16" (4.9 cm). It tapers to 1/2" (1.2 cm) at the open ends. We have a bracelet of large dimensions at 2.25in. tall and weighing in at 150.00 grams. Marked only Sterling and then also Taxco with a push pin closure. The diameter of the bracelet is 2.5in. and fits most. The panels are divided up with a decorative motif of a caviar bead wrapped in rope and bead work up and down the height of the bracelet. Spratling Brooch Pendant which bears the first phase marks as shown is an iconic design from the Mexican Silver Renaissance. All the amethyst have the teat shape which is the original cut for the stones. There is no chips or cracks to the stones. It is a 3 inch circumference and has a weight of 71 grams. This is a substancial piece. It can be worn to clasp a shawl and hold considerable weight. Add your own chain and thread it thru the barrels and have a necklace!

A fun piece of sporting jewelry depicting a crossed pair of croquet mallets and a coral ball inside the wicket. The banded agate stone is black with a single white line and has never been engraved. Croquet became fashionable among the English elite in 1856 when when the first book of croquet rules was published and the All England Croquet Club was formed at Wimbledon. The fob is stamped “10 ct.”

An elegant pair of cufflinks with engraved decoration suggesting flowing water. The decoration is anchored at either end with a pair of seed pearls and a pair of single-cut and old European cut diamonds. The gold surfaces are acid-bloomed to achieve the rich coloring typical of Art Nouveau jewels. This natural mineral crystal is semitranslucent and easily dyed with a linear fiber-like appearance and it is shown to good effect in this post-Deco era set. This c. 1910 buckle brooch is beautifully decorated with turquoise tour a guilloche enamel work, with round white enamel accents around the perimeter. This pre-1948 bracelet is a huge, wide, weighty piece and a Fred Davis design. It's unsigned, marked simply "Silver Mexico".

The panels have a geometric design inspired by pre-Columbian clay stamps which Davis collected. You can see a similar Fred Davis bracelet with amethysts in my shop.
