The top sits 5/8" high and measures about 1 1/4" across. Has a brutalist, asymmetrical feel. There is a small fracture on the bottom that looks original. This design really stands out! This pin has heft and presence, with a compelling design by Uni David-Andersen for the David-Andersen workshop. It resembles lattice work in its construction, but the irregular lengths of the ribs give it a primitive feel. The pin has a secure roll-over clasp and measures 2 inches long by 5/8 inches wide. Designed by Karin Pedersen for JemAx of Denmark, this sterling silver vermeil and white enamel brooch is such a great example of Scandinavian minimalist / modernist design from the 1960s and 1970s. I love the pearlescence of the white here and the way its translucence brings out the guilloche motifs in the silver underneath. White is a gorgeous color in Scandinavian enamelwork and it pairs perfectly with darker, more subdued hue time and loving use has bestowed to the vermeil finish...

Dragon brooch in the Viking style, the fable animal copied from the superbly elegant 12th century wood carvings on the portal of Urnes stave church in Norway, now on the Unesco World Heritage list. Sterling silver with marks 925, NM under crown for the National Museum and Copy. Height including the small (and movable) handle "2/ 5.3 cm. Condition: fine.

A vintage modernist 830 silver pendant by the noted silversmith from Norway, A. K. Pettersen whose work is signed with a stylized AKP.

Made of 830 silver, which was widely used as a silver standard in Scandinavian countries, this pendant measures 1 1/2" across and 3 3/4" long including the fringe. Has what appears to be the original 23" chain. The pendant has four dangles for lots of movement.

A large 1" in diameter porcelain cabochon. Abstract patterns in brown and gray, and gold overlay is the focus of this interesting Norwegian ring. Cabochon is bezel set in sleek sterling mount that has an adjustable back- which is currently a size 6.5. It is marked "925S, Norway, Sterling," and with an anchor shaped hallmark. By Porsgrund, circa 970s. The designer attributed to this piece is Anne Marie Odegaard. In excellent vintage condition.
