Jacques James Joseph Tissot 1836-1902 French This is a fine original etching by French artist James Tissot. The title is: Reverie, it was created and printed in 1880 in an edition of 100. The image measures 9X 4 7/16 inches. The image is plate signed and dated upper right corner of the image, printed on a medium weight laid type paper. A very rich impression, nicely framed. This image appears in the Wentworth catalog as image number 52.

David Y. Cameron 1865-1945 British This is an original pencil signed etching by British artist David Young Cameron. It is titled: A Dutch Farm, art of his North Holland Set. This etching was created and printed in 1892. The image measures 4 5/16 X 8 15/16 inches.Printed on an early laid type sheet with collectors stamp lower corner of the border. This etching came to us with 1/8 inch margins on three sides.

Mortimer Menpes, English, 1860-1938, "Interior of St Maclou, Rouen". This etching by Mortimer Menpes measures 12 3/8 x 6 3/8 inches, pencil signed, c. 1902, edition of 50, looking towards the Gothic Baldachin. Menpes attended the School of Art in London in 1878 and started exhibiting at the Royal Academy in 1880. He became a major figure in the etching revival, producing more than seven hundred different etchings and drypoints, which he usually printed himself.

Mary Stevenson Cassatt 1844-1926 American This is an original drypoint etching by American artist Mary Cassatt. The title is Denise holding her Child, created in 1905, this image is the first state of two, printed on an Ivory laid type sheet. The image measures 8X5 3/4 inches. Unsigned as issued. This image appears in the Breeskin catalog as image number 204.

Louis Legrand was an important artist of 'La Belle Epoch' in France of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He specialized in etchings of the women of Paris, from the wealthy elite to dancers and prostitutes...

ONE OF A NUMBER BY THE ARTIST IN MY SHOP**This is a small etching (the sheet 5 1/4" by 7 3/4", respectably matted but not framed), by the noted California artist HARRIET GENE ROUDEBUSH (1908-1998), titled at lower left margin "Fisherman's Wharf" and pencil signed at lower right by the artist. The image features the fishing boats tied up at the wharf, long before today's mass commercialized tourist scene made the area virtually unrecognizable...

William Charles McNulty 1884-1963 American This is an impressive etching and drypoint by American artist William C. McNulty. The title is: "Demolishing the Century Theater, 1931" A great industrial study done in New York City. This etching has an image size of 9X11 1/4 inches. Pencil signed and titled. Done in an edition of 75 proofs.

A mezzotint printed in colors of a large Holderness cow, a type of Holstein Friesian. Printed on woven paper. The image is 18 by 24 inches, overall it is 24 ¾ by 30 inches and the mat is 26 by 31 ½ inches. The print, with dedication on the lower margin, depicts a large rectangular cow in front of a barnyard with a dog, cowherd and a well dressed man in the foreground. Etching, 4 3/4" by 6 5/8" inside the mat, 10" by 12 1/2" in simple black strip frame, titled in pencil at left margin "A Bermuda Lane" and signed in margin in pencil at lower right by artist RAY ALLEN. I do not see a listing for an artist of this name. The work likely dates to about the 1950's I would think, and is probably still in its original frame.
