Haku Maki was a Japanese print master of the late 20th century. His prints at the time this one was published were strong on the use of kanji and abstract designs, as shown here. David Y. Cameron 1865-1945 British This is a rare original etching and drypoint by Scottish artist David Cameron. The title is: Wingless Chimera, Amiens Cathedral, it was created and printed in 1911. Hand signed in pencil, this etching measures an image area of 7 5/8X9 3/8 inches. Printed on a medium weight laid type sheet. This image was exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1911. This image appears in the Rinder catalog as image number 416.

The Boydell Gallery of paintings from Shakespeare must have been an amazing site in fashionable London in the early 19th century. The publisher, John Boydell, commissioned some of the leading artists of the day to paint scenes from Shakespeare and to display the paintings at the publishers Shakespeare Gallery in Pall Mall. Louis Icart 1888-1950 French THis is a fine color aquatint etching by French artist Louis Icart. Hand signed in pencil lower right also with the windmill blindstamp and copyright information in the upper left corner. Study of ten original photographic collages by the late MARCI ZELMANOFF, b.1942 in Philadelphia. These collages were set up for the camera only, so were assembled and photographed. This set contains 10 collages from her estate and can also be purchased separately for $100 each. PHOTO #1 is a partial assemblage of several of the pieces. They each measure approx. 8" by 11" but the first collage measures 5 1/2" by 10"(photo #2). And, the 4th collage measures 7" by 10"(photo#5)...

Fine etching of windmills in a landscape in a brownish-black ink, 9" by 11" (14 1/2" by 16 3/4`" framed), pencil signed at lower right by listed artist DIRK BAKSTEEN (1886-1971). The quality of the work is excellent, reminding the viewer of Rembrandt and other better known artists, though Baksteen is a somewhat obscure figure today. Born in Rotterdam and educated in art there at the academy, by 1912 he was in Mol, Belgium, becoming part of the "School of Mol" landscape artists...
