Rare oversize original etching by Frank Brangwyn (England-Wales, born in Belgium, 1867-1956) of Notre Dame De Paris. Signed in pencil by the artist lower right. This work is #231 in the Catalogue Raisonne, and dates from 1914. 22" by 29" etching alone, 35" by 42" in its period frame. Brangwyn is an important artist of the Arts and Crafts period.
Scarce lithograph print of 1922, "Eislauf" (Ice Skating), pencil signed at lower right by the enormously important German Expressionist, MAX BECKMANN (1884-1949), the sheet measuring 23 1/2" by 15 1/2". The image shows a delightful variety of people of all ages enjoying the open air pleasures of skating. This print was published by Reinhard Piper in Munich in a total edition of 230 examples. This is an original pencil signed lithograph by American artist Joseph Pennell. He traveled down to Panama in 1912 to record the building of the Canal. He created a series of images from that trip. This image is titled Cranes at Miraflores Lock, Panama, Printed in an edition of only 100. This image measures 22 1/4X16 3/4 inches on a Fabiano watermarked, laid type paper. Sheet size is 25 1/2X 20 1/2 inches.

This is an example of the large chromolithograph of the Grand Canyon, made after the famous painting by Thomas Moran, for the Santa Fe Railroad. The work measures 23 2/3" by 35" and the pleasing wood frame is 2 3/8" on a side. This example of this well-known print is offered in as-is condition, with most notably an approximately 1" across hole at lower left, and a number of areas of missing paper, showing in the images as white areas...
