One could call this work a homage to Jackson Pollock and Sam Francis: colorful drips in red, blue, yellow and gray, on an inky black background, 20 1/4" by 24 1/2" as simply framed in silvery metal behind Plexiglas. There is no signature. A fine choice if you are looking for original abstract art for your mid century or modern interior.

Acrylic on canvas painting, 24" by 24", unframed, signed illegibly lower right, also dated there 06 and inscribed. I cannot make out the signature, and do not know if it be simply by an amateur of considerable talent, or perhaps, by a known artist? The signature most definitely has a professional look to it.

Found in Los Angeles, probably by a local talented impressionist painter. This being a standard size, you should be able to easily locate a flattering frame of your choice.

The painting, 22" by 28", unframed, is signed at lower right by artist Sidney Hall. I do see online information for a California, female artist who signs Sydney Hall, but am not sure this is the same individual. The present work is not brand new; could date to 1980's or 1990's possibly...

Oil on canvas painting titled on reverse "Iris and Poppies", 9" by 12" (16" by 19" in gold leaf frame) signed at lower right corner by noted contemporary northern New Mexico artist DON BRACKETT (1932-). The artist, born in Oklahoma and raised and educated in Albuquerque, (where he received a fine art degree from the University of New Mexico) is known today for his plein air landscapes of northern New Mexico around Taos and Santa Fe, as well as paintings of flowers and wildflowers...

Mark Tougias (American, Born 1953 - present) - Vermont Winter Hills landscape painting, oil on linen, 24 inches x 30 inches, signed lower right and titled on tag own reverse. A quintessentially Vermont winter landscape with tightly spaced rolling hills and fields shadowed by the late afternoon sun. Mark Tougias was born in Springfield, MA, in 1957. Beautifully executed by an unknown but obviously talented artist is this 10" by 8" oil on canvas of a seated woman draped in fabric, against a darker drape background. The work is contemporary. It was found unframed and for illustration purposes I have "married" it to a frame that somewhat fits it, however, the frame is marginally unsuitable because it is a bit shallow for an oil painting's stretcher...

A 24" by 36" oil on Masonite painting (30" by 41 1/2" as framed), titled on reverse "The Essence of Autumn", July 2002, signed there and again at lower right by listed California contemporary artist ROBERT ALLISON RICHERT (born 1947). The artist in the early 1970's received his Bachelor's Degree in Art at California State University, Long Beach. Acrylic on canvas contemporary painting of palms, depicted in yellow, pinkish-red and greenish-blue against an electric blue background, 18" by 24", unframed, signed at lower right by the artist, Shannon Casey. This is a nicely decorative, breezy work that will surely add a touch of the tropics to your interior. There are a very few minor spots of soiling or abrasion that hardly detract from the overall effect.
