Note how the extreme upper right edge, which had evidently been hidden under a frame, shows the true colors of the work. Owen was born in Polk County, Missouri. For many years he has been recognized as a master at painting clowns. Reproduction prints have been made from many paintings. This example is in excellent condition. Note also the interesting framing.
