Landscape in Brittany by Henry Orne Rider (1860-1943), Framed Oil on Canvas. 29 x 24".

A well painted oil on board landscape of green fields in the foreground and a tan one in the distance with a group of trees on the left under a cloudy blue sky. The frame is a molded gilt frame. It is a good size; 19 inches tall by 21 ½ inches wide. With frame it is 26 ½ inches by 24 inches.

Condition is excellent with a recent cleaning and new frame.

Georges Robin, French, 1904-1928, oil on canvas, signed lower right in good condition. It is 25.6" by 36.25" in a lovely early 20th C French frame 35" by 45". George Maroniez was a member of the Salon des Artistes Francais in 1889, and started exhibiting there when he was just 22. He won several awards and was made Knight of the Legion of Honor.

Oscar Kokoschka, 1886-1980, Oil on canvas signed lower right O K. The painting is in good condition and is 20 1/8"h by 14 3/8"w in a 4.25" period frame with outer dimensions of 27 1/8"h by 21.1/8"w. It is from a private midwestern collection. He was the son of a fairly poor Czech goldsmith, was born in Pochlam, Austria and raised in Vienna, the great hothouse of modernism in economic, social and ethnic areas. Warren Davis, American/New York, 1865-1927. This perfect painting is oil on canvas in its original frame. Signed verso and titled "The Ripple", it is the last oil painted by Davis in 1926-27, from the estate of his widow. It is in perfect condition with only a slight wave in the canvas which would easily be corrected by keying out the canvas. The back of the painting is intact with original paper and gallery sticker.
