English Marine painter known for brilliant paintings of ships and seascapes. Painted oil on canvas measuring 32x42” in its original gold frame

A highly decorative and good-sized painting on canvas of a vintage motorcycle, painted in a Pop Art style. The work is unsigned and probably dates to the past twenty years. It was painted by a competent artist with training. Unframed, the work measures 30" by 30". Will add an interesting twist to your contemporary interior. Very clean and wall-ready.

A small unframed oil on Masonite painting, 8" by 10", signed at lower left indecipherably, the work a fantasy landscape painted very much in the style of acclaimed California artist Eyvind Earle (1916-2000). The neon green sunlit strip, the surreal shadows cast by rocks there, the bare tree, the hillside, all are reminiscent of Earle's work. A silvery frame might work on this. Surface is a bit dusty, and heavily varnished. There are some very light drips of something at right center.

A beautifully painted impressionist view of the charming Filipino countryside, " by ", unframed, signed at lower right "T. I. SANCHEZ Manila", and dated there 1963. The unframed oil on canvas is in excellent overall condition. I note a slight dimple/depression at left which is visible when viewed in raking light (see photo). A light cleaning would be beneficial. Sanchez does not appear to be a listed artist but was certainly a talent, in the tradition of the great Fernando Amorsolo...

Brooks Pettus (1918-2003) was a noted western American artist who passed away in Kennewick, Washington, leaving behind a large body of work in watercolor and oil that only recently appeared on the market. Charming small round painting in the original gold wood frame, 9 1/2" diameter as framed, the subject given on the reverse of the board in the artist's own handwriting: "Heilige Nacht in Villingen" ("Holy Night in Villingen"), also, "N. gem. v.
