A framed PAIR of identically framed color prints, each 11 1/2" by 15 1/4" as framed, the subjects of both the famous bookstalls by the Seine in Paris, Notre Dame cathedral in the distance. Each is pencil numbered at lower left out of editions of 5000, and signed at lower right in pencil, by the noted French 20th century impressionist painter CHARLES BLONDIN (1913-1991)...

Original intaglio by Wendell H. Black (American, 1919-1972), in excellent original unframed condition. This work is titled l.l. and marked A/P, also signed by the artist's widow and dated l.r. It was posthumously printed by Berkley Chappell, who produced the first edition of the lost prints of Wendell Black. Cf. "The Lost Prints of Wendell H. Black" by Henry Sayre. Donald Shaw MacLaughlan was born in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada on November 9, 1876. His family moved to Boston, Massachusetts in 1890 where he began to experiment with different art media; watercolor, oil painting and finally, etching – with a few attempts at lithography. This piece on toned paper depicts a view of Venice Italy, done circa 1910 measuring 21x18 inches

William Lionel Wyllie, British, 1851-1931, "Departure of the Fishing Boats". This is a remarkable original etching by William Lionel Wyllie, image size 9 1/4 x 14 inches, c. 1900, pencil signed, titled on the lower edge of the sheet. Wyllie was a well known marine painter and printmaker in early 20th century London. He studied at the Heatherley School of Fine Art, then at the age of 15 began his studies at the Royal Academy...

Sir Francis Dodd 1874-1949 British This is a fine original drypoint etching by British artist Francis Dodd. It is a portrait of the artist Charles Cundall R.A. It was created and printed in 1926, hand signed in pencil lower border. The image measure 18X12 inches. Nicely framed with archival materials. Printed on a medium weight wove type paper.

A fine color etching, "Park Avenue", circa 1929, by the noted Austro-Hungarian etcher, painter, and printmaker Luigi Kasimir (1881-1962). The scarce vintage print is in apparent excellent condition (not examined out of frame). Measurements are 17 3/4" by 11 1/4" inside the mat, 26" by 19" framed. Kasimir is known today largely for his prints of street and city scenes in both Europe and America, rendered in fine detail, as color etchings, a process in which he was a pioneer...

Arthur J. T. Briscoe, British, 1873-1943, "Hauling the Net Aboard". This 1926 etching by master printmaker Arthur Briscoe measures 7 x 11 7/8 inches and is signed in ink and editioned as 38/75. Lable on backing with provenance from C.W. Kraushaar Galleries, NY. Members of the crew aboard the trawler "Guess Again" concentrate on hauling the days catch aboard. The forground figure is "Old Sam" a figure Briscoe used in many of his images...

C. 1903. 1st state, edition of 65. Larger edition of 100 after signature was added to plate. Pencil signed in the lower right. Catalog: P-K 105. An intimate portrait of a young woman in her dressing room affixing flowers to her dress.

A fine example of the Drypoint work of French artist Jacques VIllon. The title of this work is :"L'Epingle A Chapeau", the hat pin. This image was created and printed in 1909. The image is editioned lower left as 12/20. A rare image. The drypoint measures 15X12 inches, printed on a medium weight, watermarked, laid type paper. very fine condition, a rich impression showing a velvet burr of ink throughout the figure. This drypoint is clearly signed in pencil by the artist lower right border.
