This is an original etching by Reginald Marsh (American 1898-1954)of Minsky's Chorus, the famous Burlesque venue in New York City. The original painting of this scene is in the permanent collection of the Whitney Museum. The original shows a reverse scene. The sheet size is 10 1/2" x 14 1/4", with the impressed image size of 8 7/8" x 11 3/4". The paper is heavy, textured, with a slight cream hue. As is visible in the photos, there are losses to the margins on the right and at the bottom...
