A circa 1930 colorful, beautiful, accomplished woodblock print of a Christmas cactus, by Austrian-born artist HUGO NOSKE (1886-1960). Noske was born in Vienna and was a very talented artist, perhaps best known today for the technically accomplished, wonderful woodblock prints of floral subjects, often specifically cacti or Christmas cacti, on tissue-like Japan paper. Sir William Russell Flint 1880-1969 British This is a fine expressive drypoint etching by British artist Sir William Russell Flint. The title is: Clatter and Whirl, Granada, it was created and printed in 1931 in an edition of 75. This image is hand signed, with sepia ink, numbered as XV and inscribed as using An antique laid type sheet from 1744, "D.R." The image measures 8 1/4X13 7/8 inches, printed with a brown toned ink, a very rich impression.

Etching in dark brownish-black ink, 14 3/8" by 10 1/2" inside the mat (19 3/4" by 15 1/2" as framed), the print numbered at lower left 37/100, while additionally signed and dated there as well in the plate, while titled in the plate "Notre Dame #2" at lower right. This is likely by an artist considered Canadian, CAROLINE HELENA WILKINSON ARMINGTON (1875-1939) rather than by American CAROLINE ARMINGTON (1898-1986), though records for the two seem to be hopelessly entangled...

A vintage woodcut print in black with touches of yellow and red in the windows of the picturesque seaside structures, unsigned, titled in the image "NOEL", white speckles (sprayed?) indicating snowflakes, 12 1/2" by 9 1/2" framed. The scene resembles Maine villages such as Port Clyde or Castine. Likely a work from that region, circa 1940's, possibly 1930's. I opened up the backing and found no further information.

Original woodcut circa 1930's, the subject a man working machinery in an urban setting with high rise buildings, stamped at lower right margin with the estate stamp of American artist IRVING GEORGE LEHMAN (1900-1983). The work is unframed and currently housed in a mat, and is taped at extreme top edge in two places, to that mat. There is a roughly rectangular pressed-in area of the paper at lower left and some wrinkling of the extremely delicate thin paper at bottom...
