A circa 1920's etching of the Woolworth Building in New York City, the print signed in the plate and then pencil signed at lower right margin by American artist F.W.W. HOPPE. The artist did leave behind a number of etchings of New York scenes, but there seems to be a lack of biographical information on him or her. The print is in brown ink on a thin paper. Measurements inside the present mat (no glass) are 9 1/2" by 5 1/4" (14 1/4" by 9 1/2" in thin strip frame)...
Scarce 1941 color lithograph print titled in the lower left margin "Babes in the wood" and facsimile signature in right margin by the noted California artist CONRAD BUFF (1886-1975). These prints are sometimes found with pencil signatures, and many were issued in small editions generally under 200 examples. I cannot be certain as to the edition size of this particular title...

A lithograph poster printed by Maeght, 24" by 16", to be shipped unframed (flat or tube-rolled as per buyer preference), circa 1980's, publicizing the gallery's long and fruitful relationship with the famous Spanish artist JOAN MIRO (1893-1983). Miro of course needs little introduction, as one of the best known artists of the twentieth century, his colorful iconic imagery by now firmly integrated into modern visual culture...

An example of the 1957 poster of a seated nude, titled "Andre Derain Dessins", by Galerie Maeght. The lithograph is framed in a silver metal frame with orange backdrop. Measurements are 25 3/4" by 18 3/4" (30 1/2" by 24 1/4" as framed). Derain was a major French artist in the first half of the twentieth century, renowned early on for his Fauvist works and later for a wealth of works, both drawings and paintings, many of which depicted the female nude. WILL BE SHIPPED WITHOUT GLASS.
This is an antique miniature color print portrait of Emperor Napoleon III of France, dating back to approximately 1900. The portrait is meticulously crafted with a gold outline, set against a black background, and showcases the Emperor in his full glory. The portrait is well-preserved and protected by an exquisite ebonized wood and gilt frame, adding elegance and grandeur to the piece. A true lithograph, possibly titled "Litografia VI", 9 1/2" by 12 1/2" inside the mat, 12 1/2" by 15 1/2" including the mat, unframed, by the famous Spanish modern artist who needs little introduction, JOAN MIRO (1893-1983). Colors are very bright...
This attractive and interesting print is a cover of the November 19, 1897 issue of the famous Parisian literary periodical "Gil Blas", which was issued between the years 1879 and 1914. Named after Alain-Rene Lesage's novel, it was a popular read in the late 19th and early 20th century among the fashionable. It serialized famous novels before they appeared as books...

Lithograph, 33 1/2" by 23 1/2", the haunting image of a man titled in the image "Kafka", the work signed in the stone, and inscribed in pencil at lower right "Bussigny Aug. 81./For Leslie & Geoffrey/from Carl Fredrik Reutersward" and noted "HC" inconspicuously at lower left. This is a graphic work of CARL FREDRIK REUTERSWARD (1934-2016), important Swedish pop artist perhaps best known for his oversized "knotted gun" sculptures gracing squares and plazas around the world, including the groun...

An etching with extensive watercolor depicting two arches of an old bridge with a house built on the pier between the arches, two men in red coats and a dog on the bank below the bridge and lane with trees and houses on the right. Titled along the lower margin to the left, “Part of the Old Bridge east Shrewsbury.” It is unsigned, but part of the old mount that is saved in a folder on the back of the present mount states that it is by Paul Sandby (British 1725-1809). The evidence that it is b...
