Presented on cream wove paper, this original drypoint has wide margins with a sheet size of 15 1/2 x 10 1/4 inches and is pencil signed on the lower border. A French Poster that belonged to the actress Greer Garson. This was lent to the College of Santa Fe for exhibition when Garson appeared in the production of Madwoman of Chaillot. On the back Garson has written the information, shown in photo. Measures about 16 1/2" by 23 3/4", frame overall about 17 1/2" by 24 3/4". Appears to be attached to backing. Nice Art Nouveau Style and interesting provenance.
