An energetic image of a young woman walking her two Russian wolfhounds, this etching measures 5 7/8 x 7 7/8 inches, c. 1930, pencil signed below the image, titled on the lower margin. Diana Thorne was a well known early 20th century artist and illustrator, known especially for her etchings of dogs and illustrations of numerous children's books.

Antique (19th century) hand-colored print of flowers, possibly columbine among them, in a contemporary gold frame with contemporary expensive hand-drawn "French panel" mat. The print and mat and frame are in exceptional, wall-ready condition. Measurements 9 1/4" by 7 1/4" (19" by 17" framed). See other botanical prints in my shop.
