A rare and possibly maquette for the Lincoln Centennial Cent , Bronze Sculpture of Abraham Lincoln by Artist Victor D. Brenner measuring 14 in. Diameter. Victor David Benner (1871 – 1924) was a Litvak-American sculptor and engraver. He is well-known for designing the Lincoln Cent.

Original bronze sculpture by David McFall, famed Scottish sculptor (1919-1988) created in 1973. Numbered 3/8 (although we believe only 3 or 4 were cast), signed "McFall", and with the foundry mark of "Fiorini & Carney Founders London". In excellent original condition. Original green patina--although much more muted in person than in the photos. Roughly 11 1/2" (width) by 7 1/4" (depth) by 9" (height). Please ask for additional photos if needed. Very well crafted patinated bronze figure of matador. Depicting figures of a bull and matador, from late 19th/early 20th century, marked "Masier". Raised on a 1.25" marble base, figure height is 8 inches with length of 11 inches, no condition issues noted.

Originally conceived as part of a figural group for a larger commission, Charity depicts the doting love of a mother for her two children. Paul Dubois ( 1829 - 1905 ) originally exhibited it at the Salon of 1877. The famed Barbedienne foundry reproduced smaller versions for interior decoration. This particular version is 18", signed Paul Dubois, and stamped with the Foundry mark. Condition is very good with slight wear of patina to high points such as knee and nose...
