Four left. Using a limited palette of 3 plus white, all 6 gems - lively small studies were painted by self learned painter Mimi Dee, depicting regional big skies, river, marsh, crossings, birches, lavender hued hills, rocks, expressive twisted trees, etc. Five have the word: Path in the title:

This is a pair of engravings from Peterson's Magazine, 1877 and 1882, both nicely hand colored. Size as framed 18" by 20". The prints, titled "Les Modes Parisiennes" are very clean inside the mats. There are vertical central creases as no doubt issued. These would make for a pleasing addition to a bedroom or lady's feminine dressing area. Allow for reflections in some images.

The painting measures 12 1/4" by 15 1/4" in its present wood frame. The artist seems to have had a good command of the medium. Condition is excellent. The work measures 16 1/2" by 11 1/2" inside the mat and 22 1/2" by 17 3/4" framed. Patrick was in Los Angeles by 1910. A physician, she is known to have painted florals and landscapes. In 1937 the prestigious Stendahl Gallery held an exhibition of her work. Patrick was active in local art clubs, including Painters and Sculptors of Los Angeles, in 1936-37...

A nicely worked pastel drawing of cypress trees in a swamp landscape, Spanish Moss hanging down gracefully, the work signed at lower right "Sr. M. Lucy", 8" by 6" as framed, circa 1950. This is a difficult subject to draw well but the artist accomplished the chore with skill. Condition is excellent. I do not see an obvious listed artist with whom to link this. Framing is simple, work will need to be re-matted/sealed as it is currently loose under the glass.
