‏Oil on canvas laid on board painting of snowy high mountain framed by a lake and trees, 12" by 16" (15 1/2" by 19 1/2" framed). Although unsigned (and Detreville's output frequently WAS unsigned), the handling, subject matter and color palette strongly suggest the hand of the noted California painter. I have owned and sold other unsigned paintings as being by Detreville, and I will stand by this being one of his works...

This is a fine 1919 work featuring roses and their stems and leaves, signed at right center by artist A. E. DALE and dated there 1919. I do not see a listing for this obviously talented artist. The painting, 17" by 13" inside the mat and 23" by 20" framed, is in amazingly fresh condition considering it was painted nearly 100 years ago. The paper is not yellowed and there is no foxing. The frame is contemporary and in excellent condition...

This is a very nicely done watercolor painting of a young woman in a flowered hat, holding more roses in her hands, executed in the style of the noted illustrator and artist Harrison Fisher (1875-1934). The work, 10 3/4" by 8 3/4" (16 1/4" by 14 1/2" framed) likely dates to about 1905 or 1910. It is laid down on a card and the mat is laid over that. I have peeked underneath and do not see any evidence of a signature...
