A really nicely painted oil on canvas landscape of a whitewashed, red-roofed farmhouse, a lane leading up to it, a dog, several tiny figures and a large feathery tree completing the scene, 13" by 16 3/4" (18 1/2" by 22 1/4" as framed), signed at lower right "G Zannoni" and dated below that with what appears as an 1860's date (partly under the frame, hard to see). The work may look slightly primitive close up but when viewed from normal viewing distance it all comes together as intended...

Harry Shokler 1896-1978 American This is a fine large color screen print by American artist Harry Shokler (1896-1978) The title of this work is Summer Hotel, created in 1945 and printed in an edition of 100. Hand signed and titled in pencil and also signed with pen and ink within the image. This large image measures 14 9/16X18 3/4 inches. Very fine condition. Matted not framed.

This is an original pencil signed etching by British artist Sir Frank Short.  The title is: A Lane in Arundel, it was created and printed in 1907.  The image measures 8 1/8X10 inches.  A rich impression.

Robert Delaunay was born in Paris in 1885, a few years after Braque and Picasso to 1941 Montpelier. This stunning watercolor on paper is of the Eiffel Tower, 37cm by 25.8cm (14.6" by 10.2") signed LL. He was a big blond bright-eyed man, the son of a well-off engineer and so he was not afflicted by the poverty that befell most of his fellow artists. Chamberlain and Kingsland-107, pencil signed, numbered and titled. This scene of Bellefontain, Ile-de-France, exhibits Chamberlain's ability to create subtle gradation in plate tone.

This is a pair of engravings from Peterson's Magazine, 1877 and 1882, both nicely hand colored. Size as framed 18" by 20". The prints, titled "Les Modes Parisiennes" are very clean inside the mats. There are vertical central creases as no doubt issued. These would make for a pleasing addition to a bedroom or lady's feminine dressing area. Allow for reflections in some images.

A late 19th century small oil on artist board, unsigned, the subject a quiet glen with small waterfall and pond or creek in a forest. The work measures 14 1/2" by 9 1/2" in likely the original gold frame (now with a missing area at top right corner). A cleaning would work wonders. Old Kansas City framer's label and art board shows a Chicago origin.

Gouache on paper, 16 1/2" by 10 3/4" and 4" on a side mat/frame, signed at lower left in Cyrillic with the possible name "Dreber" or "Dreiber" or "Dreyber", and dated 22 November 1974. This carefully crafted drawing of fuchsia and a tulip-shaped bloom reminds me of early American folk art Americana like Pennsylvania fraktur.......but, this is Russian!
