An uncommon miniature portrait, done in oil on copper, of a member of a Scandinavian royal family. The gentleman, wearing a red coat and blue tunic, is shown 3/4 length in a field.
The condition is good, with some scattered small losses, and looks better in person than the photo shows. Presented in its beautiful original bronze frame. Sight size is 3 1/4" by 2 1/2" and the frame size is 5" by 4 1/4".

Eye-catching patinated bronze swan statue on a black marble base.. This curvilinear design is reminiscent of the Art Deco period. The edges of the marble base are beveled and the corners are rounded; it all feels very smooth. Unsigned, there was green felt on the bottom that was removed, but enough remains that it will protect a wood surface from scratching. In excellent condition, it measures 16.12ʺ long × 4.12ʺ deep × 11.75ʺ high.
Large size lithograph print in elegant shades of gray, blacks and cream, 34" by 19 1/2", (and 41 1/2" by 26 1/2" in quality mid century frame), numbered 36/95 at lower left, and pencil signed at lower right, by the only recently deceased important Swiss modernist artist, HANS ERNI (1909-2015) . A strong English portrait miniature on natural wafer that will cause you to see spots before your eyes. However, they are on a high-necked dress worn by this woman whose attire also features a cap or wide headband. The reverse of the 2 1/2" by 2 1/8" gilt metal case has interwoven plaits of hair. Excellent condition.
This is a work squarely in the Hudson River style by a talented landscape artist of the second half of the century, DANIEL CHARLES GROSE (1838-1900). The scene is a significant river winding among steep green bluffs, a feathery tree at left, the only sign of the hand of man a split rail fence. Signed at lower left and dated there 1874, the work measures 8" by 12" (12 3/4" by 17" in its original attractive old gilded frame)...
