A modern framer's sticker on the backing from Georgetown, Colorado confirms the locale. Georgetown is an historic town filled with examples of Victorian architecture from the boom days of the 19th century in that part of the country...

Oil on canvas landscape of an autumnal forest with small foreground lake or pond, a man in a boat, signed in red at lower right, difficult to decipher the signature, though the work bears an old export stamp and an old label from a Budapest, Hungary auction house. The painting measures 21" by 10 1/4" plus two inches of framing on a side including inner gold fillet and green velvet liner. The signature looks like "J Tietz" or something similar but that is just a guess...

Oil on canvas painting, unframed, 15" by 23", the subject a traditional farmhouse in spring, surrounded by trees in pink and white blooms, the season's clouds billowing in the sky, and chickens pecking in the yard, apparently fed by a lone figure, at center. This is a marriage of a circa 1880 gold American Victorian frame with distinctive and unusual diamond patterns in the gilt, the frame rabbet 14" by 18", the framed item total 19 1/2" by 23", a mid 20th century still life signed "Olenick" set into it. It makes for an interesting combination but doesn't have to necessarily stay that way. The antique frame itself is very attractive and could potentially house any number of 19th century paintings...

I see a listing for an artist by that name, born 1909, deceased 1995, last known address in Monrovia in Southern California, with earlier roots to Montana, but this painting does not resemble the desert plein air works that artist apparently painted...

A well-executed watercolor of a tightly grouped bouquet of flowers. This may be a theorem made with stencils, though this painting looks as if it was done freehand. Theorems were more often stenciled on velvet. The style is of the mid-19th century. It could be either American or English. The frame is a good one of that period. The painting was almost certainly in an oval frame originally and the slight shadow around it is evidence of that frame...
