Old photo of a seaside Greek temple with Doric columns, 10" by 14" (17" by 20 1/2" in metal framing with mat). I am not a specialist in vintage photography, but this seems to have some age. There is some silvering at lower right. The print might have been created from an old negative with some damage as there are some white spots in the print that are not damage to the print itself----I imagine that this is disturbance on the original negative...

Oil on canvas modernistic still life, 12" by 20" (13" by 21" in a narrow wood frame), signed at lower right "R. FORTIER" and dated there 1948. The work reminds me a little bit of Braque, Picasso or some of the other 20th century giants who painted modern still life. This painting was evidently owned by a heavy smoker or was in a bar or restaurant where smoke was very much a part of the scene, as it is very heavily yellowed and smells of smoke...

For the Hawaiiana fans, here is a clean Hale Pua anthuriums print, 13 3/4" by 10 3/4" (24 1/2" by 20 1/2" framed). Close up magnification shows it to be some kind of later photo of an original airbrush painting, I believe (offset printing-type dots visible with a magnifier). The color seems to be just printed on rather than airbrushed, the signature, likewise. You need a magnifying glass to tell the difference...

Large oil on high quality canvas painting, 38" by 48", not signed on front but on reverse on stretcher is written "B Ingram", probably executed in the 1960's or early 1970's. The artist clearly had a knowledge of the surrealist works of the important Chilean modern artist Roberto Echaurren Matta, whose major oils greatly resemble the image in this painting.
