This iconic, rare black lacquer Elsa Peretti buckle was done early in her career as a jewelry designer. We're not sure if it was done for Tiffany & Co, or earlier when she was designing jewelry for Halston. Fabulous versatile vintage genuine lizard box bag in navy, with beautiful Art Deco revival two tone gold- and silvertone hardware, and a long shoulder strap which hinges down into the bag, allowing it to be used as a clutch. Maya used amber colored resin with graceful carved swirls in the creation of this purse. The oval medallion contains tiger eye, crystals and rhinestones. This molded and carved resin purse by American designer Maya is, as usual, a work of art!
