Contemporary American designer Maya creates most unusual and elegant purses. Semi precious stones, glass beads and pearls are used in combination with molded resin and antiqued metal of the purse and frame. This purse is 6 1/2" long and 4" high. Maya frequently presents an oriental theme in her purses.This one is even more special than most. Under the resin surface is (quoted from Maya) "Special 'Geisha' painting by renowned painter: Art Zamora for Maya as signed." The front, and especially the back, of the purse are heavily carved/molded. The 46" chain features faceted citrine and crystal beads. Purse is 8 1/2" wide 5" high, 2" deep.

A charming purse design by Maya. Made of tree resin, it looks as if it is a combination of lizard and snake skin. The color combination is interesting and the resin is accented by copper metal. Pure elegance by Maya! Black carved resin with hint of gold frost touching the most prominent points of the carving. Along with the swans there are reeds and other plants making up the carved places on both front and back. The purse and the 44" chain are encrusted with crystals, beads and piwa pearls.
