Maya's lovely resin purse with one sculpted flower to set it off. The man-made hand molded resin for Maya's purses comes from trees native to the Philippines.The resin body of the purse is hand polished and, then, semi precious stones--in this case carnelian, picture jasper and rock crystal nuggets--are added to purse and chain. Measurements of this purse are 6 1/2" by 4" by 2". Chain is 46" end to end.

Maya presents, in sculpted resin, a winged female figure. Her gown displays a lovely floral pattern and her outstretched arms give the feeling of movement. Fresh water pearls, rose quartz chips and crystal nuggets complete the picture. Maya's cartouche is on the back. A cloth storage bag with Maya's signature is included. Measurements are 6 1/2" by 7 1/2" and 2" from front to back. Chain is 46" end to end.

Contemporary American designer Maya creates most unusual and elegant purses. Semi precious stones, glass beads and pearls are used in combination with molded resin and antiqued metal of the purse and frame. This purse is 6 1/2" long and 4" high. The 42" detachable chain may be worn as a necklace or belt while the purse may then be carried as a clutch. Maya's plaque signature is on the back of the purse. A cloth bag with Maya's name is included for storage.

Classic Gucci double G belt buckle, 1970s, in goldtone metal. Marked with GUCCI ITALY and also marked with a patent number. A belt attaches with tiny screws which can be easily screwed and unscrewed with a tweezer tip or even a fingernail. 2 5/8 inches wide and 1 3/4 inches long. The opening for the belt is 1 1/8 inches. A charming purse design by Maya. Made of tree resin, it looks as if it is a combination of lizard and snake skin. The color combination is interesting and the resin is accented by copper metal. Note the sassy tassel and the elegant beads on the 44" chain that attaches to the purse. Purse is 6" high, 6 1/4" wide, 2" deep. Tassel is 5 1/2" long.
